Chapter 4

I woke up and looked around the room... Where was justin?? He wasn't in my bed, perhaps he's downstairs? I groggily stood up from the bed and slipped on my sandals. I made my way down the stairs and looked around. Justin wasn't anywhere in sight. As I was about to grab my phone to call him, a loud noise came up from behind me and scared the living hell out of me. I turned around and it was justin. He wrapped his arms around my waist which made me feel safe.

"Did I scare you ahhahahahaha" justin said with a clever tone of voice.

"No you didn't i don't get scared easily" I said trying to seem tough

"Really, huh, that's why you jumped and screamed" he said questionably

"I just wanted to make you feel like you accomplished your goal of scaring me" I said with a chuckle.

"Yeah sure babe, alright do you want breakfast?"

"Sure lets stop by dunkin donuts maybe"

"Sounds good to me"

I went upstairs and dressed in something simple. A wore jean shorts and a plain pink t shirt. I decided to stay in my sandals and then I went to brush my hair and my teeth. I walked downstairs and justin was dressed in what he was wearing last night. He opened the car door for me and I sat down strapping the seatbelt on me. He came in the car and turned up the radio. It was pretty much a silent ride. We pulled up at dunkin donuts. I got an iced coffee along with a chocolate sprinkled donut. Then me and justin sat down and began to talk more about ourselves. That's when I realized it was a Monday. Shit we had school.

"Justin we have school and it's 8:30 school starts at 9"

"I completely forgot c'mon get in the car"

We drove to my house so I can get my backpack and put on some real shoes instead of my sandals.. Then we drove to Justin's house as he went up to change and get his backpack. I noticed he left his phone, I was tempted to look at it. He was taking a long time to get ready so I got his phone and slid to unlock it. Score, no password. Of course I went straight to his messages. There was me, his mom, chad, and someone with " <3 " as the contact name. Who could that be? It certainly wasn't me because my contact name was "baby <3 ". I opened their messages and started to read through them. The last message was sent by him at 10:03 p.m. How could that be he was taking a shower at that time? I guess he takes his phone in the shower. I scrolled through the messages and it was horrible. I tried not to cry. I truly thought he was better than this. I guess I thought wrong. Then I see the door open from his house and he opened the door. I looked at him with a smile but my throat clenched and inside I felt hurt and anger. Erick was right he is a player. Those messages just make me sick.
