*THIS IS REALLY SHORT* it should have been with the last chapter but I'll edit it later
Friday
I walked into the Cafeteria to get a snack for breakfast. On my way to the line, I noticed Issoria sitting at her usual table, but her head was down. Her hair was extra fluffy and it covered more of her face than it usually did.
I grabbed two granola bars from the breakfast bar and jogged towards Issoria. "Wassup lil mama?" I asked.
"Oh. Hi Kendall." She replied. She sounded drained and she never lifted her head up. "I feel like shit."
"Aw. Poor puffball. You'll be okay." I said sitting next to her. "I brought you a granola bar."
She looked up and gently took the granola bar from my hands. "Thanks. You're really nice." She complimented as she tore open the wrapper. As Issoria placed a piece of the bar into her mouth, I noticed a long scratch stretching from her ear to the middle of her cheek.
"Woah. Issoria, you okay? What happened to your face?" I reached out to touch it but she moved away. "Sorry."
"I, um, I don't know."
"You are the worst liar ever. Come on, I promise you can trust me." I told her. I could tell by her face that she was thinking about trusting me. I placed my arm around her shoulder to assure her I meant it. She tensed up a lot. I tried smiling at her to seem more friendly and it worked because i felt her relax.
"My, uh, I was, um," she was whispering so I leaned a little closer. "My mom had a little too much to drink last night, we got into it but it was nothing serious. I promise."
