"Dude, how long can it take for a flipping Mcdonalds to get our food ready?" Jaime complained as we stood just outside of the door so Mike could smoke.

"I'm freezing." I almost whispered to him, curling my hands against the two of us, he wrapped his arm around me and looked down, blowing the smoke up and out of the corner of his mouth.

"Better?" He asked me, rubbing my back.

"Better." I smiled as I pressed my face into his side.

"Awwww look at da lil couple." Vic cooed in baby talk to us.

We both rolled our eyes and I looked at them.

"We are NOT a couple." I clearly spoke to him.

"Why the hell is Europe so cold?" Tony asked, breaking the tension with the first words he had spoken since we had walked over here.

"Maybe because it's December." Jaime chuckled.

"Why the hell are we even taking a 3 month trip over here anyways, winter break is only a month." I mentioned.

"Don't question it! We get to spend three months her, the fall the winter, and the spring...I mean we missed the fall by a few weeks, but whatever. And we get out of school for a French field trip." Vic shouted at us.

"Whatever." Mike and I simultaneously mumbled, we stared up at each other and smiled.

My phone buzzed and I dug it out of my pocket.

Vic: just date him already. I mean really, just look at you two.

There was a photo attached of the two at us staring at each other, smiling.

A small smile crept onto my face, I then looked over and shot Vic a look, he simply smiled and shrug.

A small kind looking lady walked out of the door and handed the small group of us the bags of our food.

" oh thank you." Jaime said, handing her a small tip for walking out to hand us the food.

"To my place we go!" I shouted, pointing and running towards the street.

I slipped on a small patch of black ice and smacked my butt down.

"Damn it Michelle, you almost went a month without hurting yourself." He chuckled, picking me up.

He pulled me over and helped me onto his back, holding my food and my arms.

"Come on, my little clutz." He cooed.

Even if the nickname was a joke it still made my heart lightly fluttered.

The way he called me his warmed my heart.

Maybe Vic was right for once.
