Chapter 17

I decided that I would try and make each chapter as long as the last chapter was. I feel like what I give you guys isn't enough, so...yeah.

A WEEK LATER...

"I don't know, for Pete's freaking sake!" Alice yelled at Niall after he asked her what she wanted for breakfast. Ah, the lovely "joy" of periods.

I sighed and watched some TV. Louis came and sat next to me. Liam and Harry were out at Nando's, and Zayn was out with Perrie.

"Niall, just make her some fricking pancakes," I said. "With chocolate chips in it and with strawberries on top."

Alice plopped down next to me. "Do I haaaaaaaaaavveeeee to go to school?"

I nodded. She had 3 weeks of break left before she had to start school at Texan Eagles High School. She wasn't looking forward to it.

"It's either you go back home, or you stay here with me and go to school," I said, crossing my arms.

She sighed and went upstairs to her room.

"Mel 1, Alice zip," I said, snuggling with Louis.

Louis kissed my nose. "You're so cute," he said.

"When are you gonna..." I said, dropping my voice to a whisper, knowing for a fact that Alice was probably listening. "bite me?"

Louis sighed. "Tomorrow," he said, gripping my hand. "I promise."

I nodded and watched Finding Nemo with Louis and eventually Niall joined us.

"Nemo!" Niall cried out with Marlin. "Nemo, Nemo!"

I smacked Niall in the stomach and told him to shut his piehole.

Louis' phone started to go off, "And we danced all night to the Best Song Ever," his phone sang. He answered and said, "Hullo?"

"Yeah. Yeah, okay. I'll call them and tell them to meet us there. Kay. Bye," Louis said, hanging up.

"Who was that?" I said.

"Management," he said to both of us. "Niall, call the others and tell them to meet us there. I'll drive."

Niall nodded and Louis kissed my forehead, then went to grab his keys. "We should be back in about 2 or 3 hours," he said as Niall left. He winked at me, then followed Niall and left.

I had the house all to myself.

Plus Alice.

I was tired and was kept up all night due to Zayn talking to Perrie on the phone literally all night. So I decided to take a nap. I mean, why not? Might as well while it's quiet.

I was drifting into sleep when I heard Alice playing video games. Which she had cranked up.

I screamed and ran upstairs. I saw her blasting zombies away on the large 72 inch screen. I crossed my arms and yelled, "ALICE. ALLLLIIIIIIICCCCEEEEE." I got frustrated and turned the TV off. That would grab her attention.

She whipped around and glared at me.

"I'm trying to take a nap, so if you could PLEASE turn the volume down," I said, handing her back the remote.

"Ugh, fine," she said, turning it back on and lowering the volume.

I walked out of the room and went to my room and laid down on my bed and finally fell asleep.

4 HOURS LATER...

I woke up to peace and quiet. "Did everyone leave?" I muttered.

I shrugged and got up. I went downstairs to see absolutely no one there. I sighed and sat on the kitchen counter.

"SURPRISE!!!!" Everyone yelled, jumping up.

I was confused, then looked at the calendar.

Today was July 27th.

My birthday, I had completely forgot!

"Happy birthday to you," the boys sang. I started blushing as Louis came and walked over to me, kissing my cheek. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Mallorieeeeeeeeee, happy birthday to youuuuuuuuu!"

I looked at Alice, who had a small smile on her face. "C'mere, you," I said, holding my arms out for her to give me a hug.

She ran over to me and hugged me.

I heard the boys go "Awwwwww" and then Liam started crying.

I looked over and said, "Get over here, you big lug." He wiped away his tears and joined us. Soon the other 4 joined us and we all stood there hugging each other for about 7 minutes.

"I made you a cake," Alice said, heading towards the fridge.

"All by yourself?" I said amazed.

"With the help of Niall, but I did most of it," she said, beaming.

Niall got out the candles and stuck them in the cake and lit them.

I thought for a minute, then blew them out.

"What'd you wish for?" Louis said, wrapping an arm around my waist.

I smiled. "I already have everything I could need. What could I possibly wish for?"

It was true. I had a boyfriend, a sister, a mom and dad, and four new best friends.

At least, that was until I got a phone call.

And it was from the hospital.

It seems kinda short to me, but I've been working on this for a while and my brain hurts. And I'm about half asleep, so. Yeah.
