I walked up the steps to the church, tears starting to form in my eyes as I walked.
I suddenly stopped and couldn't move. I looked at Louis with a scared look on my face.
Louis, Alice, Tiffany, the other boys, and I were coming early to my dad's funeral so we could have some time alone with him before everyone started coming.
The boys were technically there for moral support, since none of them had met my father.
Louis squeezed my hand as we walked into the church.
A tear instantly rolled down my cheek as I saw my Aunt Valicity and my cousins Zack, Nellie, and Aunt Valicity's 6 month old baby Melissa.
My Aunt Valicity looked at me, her face red and puffy. She handed Melissa to 14 year old Zack who looked down at 8 year old Nellie.
Nellie gasped as she realized that One Direction was here. She ran up to the boys and squealed.
I ignored her conversation with them as I walked up to Aunt Valicity.
Aunt Valicity sniffled. "Are you okay?" she asked, her voice shaking.
A tear rolled down my cheek. "I will be when I see him again," I said, hugging Aunt Valicity.
My grandparents came in, looking around. I let go of Valicity and went over to them and hugged both of them. It's a good thing they were only 62. If they were any older I probably would've squeezed their guts out.
My grandma patted my back and my grampa wiped a tear from his eye, pretending to be the strong father my dad knew.
My cousin Nigel came in with his wife Susan and their daughter Kimberly. I hugged them all and ruffed Kimberly's hair.
Kimberly jumped into my arms and held onto me as I walked back up the aisle. She was only about 5 and was pretty light, only being about 46 pounds.
I kissed my second cousin's cheek and sighed. "How have you been, missy?" I said, asking Kimberly.
"OK. Robby the Magical Rabbit has been mean to me lately," she said, pounting.
Robby the Magical Rabbit was Kimberly's imaginary friend. As if you couldn't tell, Robby was a magical rabbit.
"What did he do this time?" I said, sitting down in a pew, focusing on Kimberly instead of the body in the coffin.
"He tugged on my hair and stole my seat on Mommy's lap when we were watching Cinderella last night," she said.
"Oh, sweetie. That's too bad," I said, giving her a small hug.
Louis came up to us and sat down. "Who's this little princess?" he said with a smile at Kimberly.
"Louis, this is Kimberly, my cousin. Kimberly, this is Louis, my boyfriend," I said.
Kimberly gasped. "Have you two....kissed?????"
Louis and I exchanged nervous glances. "Erm...no, sweetie," I said.
"Oh, good. If you had, Lewis and I would've had a little talk," she said, mispronouncing Louis' name. God she was cute.
I looked back as more people entered the church. "Kimberly, how about you go back with Mommy?" I said to her, setting her down.
"Okay," Kimberly said with a smile as she skipped back.
Louis went and stood with me and Niall went and stood with Alice. As more relatives and friends came in, the more nervous I got. Sure, I was used to the popularity of dating a mwmbwr of One Direction, one of the hottest boy bands in the planet, but making speeches infront of a crowd like this was not my thing.
I started feeling my throat getting dry as it begged for blood. "Louis," I whispered. "I need more blood."
Louis nodded and led me out to the car and disguised the blood to look like tomato juice in the V8 cans. Clever.
I drank about 4 cans and walked back in. The visitation was about over, so we went ahead and sat down.
Tiffany looked over at me and sat next to me.
"You didn't have to come, you know," I said to her.
She squeezed my hand. "I know," she said. "But you could use a friend."
"I have plenty of friends," I said with a half smile.
"I meant a friend who you've been bonding with for the past few days. And is a girl," she said, knowing I was gonna say something about how the boys have been bonding with me for the past few days too.
My half smile turned into a full smile and I hugged her. "Thanks," I said.
I looked away and then my vision changed. I was in the hospital with my mom. And she was okay. I was hugging her and telling her about Dad.
My vision came back to where I was right now, in the front pew in the church between Tiffany and Louis.
"Louis," I whispered. "I just saw the future."
He looked at me, his eyes widening. "Boys, meet me and Mal over by the loos. Mal discovered something." he sent out in his fancy mind thingy.
