I Miss You

"Good afternoon everybody, " A cruel smiled grew across his face, "I would like to discuss the news on what is happening this year, as you all know, I have been thinking who should kill our beloved Professor. Albus Dumbledore." He looked around the room, and his eyes met mine. I shifted in my seat to remove eye-contact.

"ME! Me! Master please pick me!!" Belatrix LeStrange, my aunt jumped up, waving like a 5 year old. She got closer to the Dark Lord, practically breathing on him.

"I'm afraid Belatrix" He paused smiling, "I have chosen who will follow this deed." I shifted again, looking down at the table. "Draco Malfoy." I slowly turned my head to Harmony. 

"What.. HIM? You chose HIM?!" Harmony shouted, she stood up quickly, Mother tugged at her arm, but she let go. "Him?!" She pointed at me, "He's just a boy!!" She shouted, "He has no idea!!"

"Miss Malfoy, please could you leave, or sit down and shut up." Professor Snape butted in. Harmony sat down quickly. She looked at me, and took my hand, and squeezed it tightly.

"Harmony wait!" I called after her, chasing her down the hall, "Please let me explain" I stopped

"You! Why is it ALWAYS You" She yelled back, "You're pathetic!" She stopped, grabbing me by my shirt. "Come with me," She said, and she basically dragged me up stairs

"Let me go!" I tried to get out of her grip, was she was holding on tightly. "Look it wasn't my fault!" She pushed me into her desk chair, slamming the door behind me

"WHY DID HE CHOSE YOU!!?" Harmony screamed, "Why you and not me?!" She lowered her voice.

"Probably because of that." I smirked, and looked at her Hogwarts uniform which was hanging on the door, she turned around to see what I was pointing at, I was pointing at her Gryffindor uniform.

"SHUT UP DRACO!!" She shouted again, "SHUT UP! SHUT UP! IT WAS A MISTAKE!!" She shouted again,

"Alright calm down! Just because I was chosen" I smirked again, she looked at me. Her eyes filled with tears

"Get out!" She said, I just sat there, "GET OUT!" She screamed in my face

I shivered at the memory, waking myself up, realizing I was still in my Dormitory, but everyone as asleep, I looked at my sterling silver watch father brought me last year, it was midnight, but it didn't feel like it was the middle of the night.

I got up, putting my suit on that I wore the day before, having a coat, I put that on over the top. Leaving the dormitory making the boys were still asleep, and quietly leaving the Slytherin common room.

It was quiet, and weird not having some bloody first year walk straight into you, it was peaceful, I liked it that way. I decided to go to the place I was used to, the only place where I knew nobody would be. The Astronomy Tower.

As I was walking down the hall I noticed some Ravenclaw's run past me laughing, I looked up and noticed a pair of shoes, pink converse with strawberries on them, just tied to the top of the hall way posts. "Weird" I said to myself, I carried on walking, up the stairs.

I stood leaning over the balcony, it was a warm breeze, and the stars shone beautifully in the moonlight. "Bit late isn't it?" A voice came from behind me, I quickly turned around.

"Snape!" I hesitated, "Professor-" I began

"No, Malfoy you have broken school rules. But as it's you your let off" He said, and stood next to me at the tower

"I have to do this" I said, looking down at the ground below me, seeing it was such a height. I swallowed hard, removing the lump in my throat.

"Yes. The Lord has sent you to do this task" Snape replied, "Why are you doubting it?" He asked, turning to me

"Just, out of all the people he could of chosen, why me?" I replied, with a sigh. Snape's eyes narrowed

"Because, Your are the only one. As for your sister. We are all deeply ashamed of her, apart from your mother obviously." Snape smirked

"My sister isn't a failure." I replied, being more serious. I missed Harmony dearly, despite she was a bit horrid at times.

"She's a failure to the family." Snape said, before leaving, I followed him, and headed back to the common room. How dare he say my sister was a failure. She was brave, daring and has a nerve. She was a true Gryffindor. Yes. She had failed my family. Father was so angry, but they're over it now though.

As I got back my dormitory, I noticed an owl by my window, it was small, black with a yellow/cream face, it was Harmony. But what did she want?, I reached for the letter, then "Oww! you little git!" I scowlded, the owl bit me! I managed to get the letter.

"Dear Draco,

How are you? I miss seeing you around the Manor, it's too quiet, especially as it's just me and Mother. I wasn't sure if you knew, but Fathers coming out of Azkaban! Apparently Bela, and the others are helping him escape! So we'll have to lie low for a while. It isn't that safe here anymore. Death Eaters and Dementors everywhere. I wish you were here. How's Sarah? I know you don't talk to her, but next time you catch her, tell her I miss her, and Fred. Sorry it's late, and you may not get this till the morning, but it's safer to owl at night then any other time, now days.

Mother wants you to come home too, I think it was next week. They're having a Ball and expect us to take someone. Of course the idea of me and Fred is out of the window, so they're paring me out with one of your Slytherin "mates!". I wasn't too pleased. Also apparently you have to go with Pansy. Bet you happy now! Mothers picking out your suit if you don't chose it this weekend, and you know her taste is, pretty much, awful.

Well, that's all really, like I said I miss you loads, and everyone else, obviously. Hope to see you next weekend or at the Ball, missed seeing your Ferrety face about, I hope all is well with school, I actually miss the Professors!

I looked at my finger, which was bleeding a little, I wanted to write back, but had hardly any energy to move. I thought about this Ball and having to go with Pansy, I loathed that girl so much, I would rather go with that Mudblood Granger then Parkinson. Brilliant.
