Chapter 14-Friends? Friends.

"Well, looks like I'm alone for now." She took out her own phone, going onto Instagram and scrolling through. A few minutes later Budo came back looking quite ashamed of himself. "We have to go back to school real quick, we can come back later to see Shin, okay?"

(name) pursed her lips, staring at Budo with squinted eyes, but soon relaxed. "Okay, let's go back to the school."

Time Skip-Back to school-Time: 3:37 pm

(name) stood with Budo at the front of the school waiting for someone. "Why are we here? There should be no one here except for faculty."

"Naomi wanted to see us," Budo responded.

"Oh, okay," (name) snorted. "For whatever reason?"

"Because I want to fight."

-Now-

"Naomi?" (name) said with a blank expression. "I don't want to do this anymore with you, it's been going on for too long, we need to start acting like our age, we can't keep on acting like children! Over one single boy, I know you'll find someone better than Budo."

"I'm offended," Budo said, trying to not say it in a joking tone. He noticed how stiff Naomi was, she was afraid, he can tell.

"No! I'm tired of you always being around Budo! You took my best friend away from me!" she shouted back, much louder than needed. Her voice strong, it was like a dog trying to get dominance and claim its territory from another dog. (name) was being terrifyingly calm, not reacting to how Naomi snarled at her. Her hands down on either side, hands open, not showing any signs of being tense, scared, or even shocked.

The older girl sighed and looked up at Naomi, a small smile on her face, not a sardonic one, it was a sweet, kind smile. "Naomi, I'm not trying to take Budo away from you, I don't want to take anyone's best friend away from them, I'm sorry that I've been taking up most of his time, I'll back off if you want so that you can have time with him. I have to be at the hospital with Shin anyways, that'll be good for both of us, I get to visit Shin and you get to spend time with Budo and rebuild your relationship with him."

"I want more than that-t," her voice began to waver. She felt herself shrink her body down slowly as she watched (name)'s gaze grow darker, but soon the delinquent leader calmed down, going back to a neutral state. "I want to be more than just friend with Budo."

Budo pushed his lips together, unable to say anything, he didn't wanna just down right reject his best friend, that'd just make him feel worse, but he has to do it, she has to understand. "Naomi, I'm sorry, but I reject your confession. I'm trying not to be rude or sound rude, but you have to accept this fact. I have (name) now and you know that, you were one of the first people I told that fact, even when we got back together."

Naomi made fists with her hands and looked down at the ground, tears brimming the corners of her eyes, unable to accept rejection. Before (name) could react quick enough, a punch was thrown at her face, Naomi's fist came in contact with her nose, (name) had a surprised look on, she lost balance, but regained it after she put her left foot back.It held her back from falling. Blood began to seep out from both her nostrils. She wiped the blood off her face with her arm, leaving a smeared streak of blood there. Still, that didn't help much, blood just continued to fall.

It dribbled down her chin. "You got me good Naomi," she mumbled, trying to keep calm, she didn't want to do anything too violent. The blackette continued to throw punches towards (name). She got hit a few times on her cheek, lip, and Naomi's nails ended up leaving a long near her nose. Budo was about to intervene, but (name) gave him a look that told him to step down. He looked conflicted but did so. He was struggling, he wanted to separate the two.
