The Mysterious Figure In The Cupboard (Updated)

Chapter One

Ella tossed and turned and suddenly felt like she couldn't go back to sleep. She peered out one eye and looked around but at the corner of her eye she saw the door move slightly. She opened both her eyes and tiptoed towards the door and suddenly the door flung wide opened and fear rushed through her body. In the cupboard was...Her Brother!

Her brother likes to play tricks on her sometime, her brother has always did that from the age of 11 and he is 19. Ella grabbed him by the jumper and guided him out of her bedroom and closed the door. She laid in her bed on her phone trying to get comfy when suddenly she heard the door creak like a swing needing oiled. Ella moved slowly toward the door and opened it very slowly but all She seen was a tall, fat, shadowy figure staggering over her.

Ella smelt the horrible, rotten smell from their breath reminding her of skunks at the zoo and stepped away quietly as she could but The shadowy figure came closer towards her. Ella suddenly tried to run for it, she got to the door and tried to opened the door but realised she put the lock on the door so her brother wouldn't barge into her room. The shadowy figure grabbed her arm and tried to drag her into the cupboard but Ella wriggled away and screamed as loud as she could but no one could hear her scream.

The shadowy figure grabbed her wrist and covered her mouth so she couldn't scream, ran in the cupboard and locked it. Ella and the shadowy figure went down a hole in the floor boards under the house and after a while of walking, Ella seen a light and the shadowy figure entered it, holding Ella's arm and dragging her there. Ella was finally let go but she seen what the figure looked like. His skin was as scaly as a snake but smelt like dirt, he had a lime, greeny coloured skin and dark brown eyes the colour of muddy puddle. Ella mumbled, "Shh..."
