The figure ran back to Daniels room where Ella lied there with her leg slashed open. He grabbed some bandages and wrapped them around her leg. "Ella, we have to take you to hospital!" Ella asked concerned,"But if you take me to the hospital, everyone will know who you are!" The figure looked at her and answered,"Oh..." Ella couldn't feel pain in her leg but the sight of her leg looked revolting. "Ella, you rest here and I will make sure no one attacks you!" The figure explained putting more bandages on the wound. "Thanks Shhh...." Ella said before she cut herself off. The figure smiled and answered."You can call me Shrek."

As Ella recovered, Shrek looked out for Daniel and Jacob as he checked if Ella was alright."Ella, are you definitely sure you are Okay?" Ella looked at her leg as the wound began to get crispy as it dried in. "Yeah, I'm fine..." Shrek sat on the rickety old chair whilst he kept a look out."Ella, You see why I am concerned about you? Your brother just slashed part of your leg open!" Shrek said softly.

Ella looked up at him and sighed,"Yeah, But...." Shrek raised one eyebrow and asked,"But what?" Ella looked up at Shrek and answered,"But...Why is he like this?" Shrek looked down and explained,"Well, I can't tell you here but I will tell you in the cabin..." Ella sighed,"W..why can't you tell me here?" Shrek pointed his eyes to the door and whispered,"Incase Jacob or Daniel is about..."

Ella got up off the ground and began to limp back to her room, her leg felt somewhat numb but she was still able to get her leg to contribute with her walking. Shrek tried to take Ella back to Daniel's room but Ella kept refusing to go back so they both headed to her room. Ella went up to the closet and mumbled,"let's go!" And they both started heading underground and out to the cabin. "Ella, why are we going to the cabin?" Shrek asked as they went into the cabin. "So you can tell me why...he is like that."

Shrek sat down on his dirty, uncleaned sheets on his bed and sighed. "Well, when he was your age, 16, he was so happy until, your mum died... Then he literally couldn't take it anymore, so he killed Fiona..." Ella began to cry and she trembled,"I...I thought Mum left... He never told me she died, but how did she die?!" Shrek looked away from Ella and stuttered,"See how I don't want to be seen by anyone or anyone to know my name? Fiona was the same, but one day we needed food really badly, so she had to get some...but she was walking along the street and someone came to talk to her but she thought they were going to attack her so she...killed them but she didn't realise it was your mum..." Ella paused for a second then asked,"Then..." Shrek continued,"Then, on Daniel's birthday I went to get mushrooms and barley for us to eat but when I came back.. Daniel was there and Fiona was....dead!"
