The Mysterious Figure In The Cupboard (Updated)

Chapter Eleven

Ella paused for a second then asked,"Then..." Shrek continued,"Then, on Daniel's birthday I went to get mushrooms and barley for us to eat but when I came back.. Daniel was there and Fiona was....dead!"

Ella sobbed quietly and put her hands over her face as Shrek looked down at his feet and sighed. Ella cried,"I actually can't believe that Daniel has kept this from me for my entire life near enough!" Shrek moved closer to Ella and put his arm around Ella and whispered,"I...I'm so sorry I made you cry Ella..." Shrek wiped a tear off Ella's face. Ella looked at the ground and sighed,"It's Okay...Its not your fault..." Ella said putting her head on Shrek's shoulder. Shrek gripped her right shoulder with his hand pulling her into a hug as Ella cried quietly onto his shoulder.

*Four Hours later (unfortunately)*
Ella's leg had finally not felt numb anymore but her chest felt somewhat strange to her. Ella felt love and hatred at the same time she didn't seem to know which emotion she was actually feeling. Perhaps both? Nah! Ella tried to fall back asleep ten minutes later but suddenly the bedroom door swung wide open and Daniel and Jacob stood at the door with heavy metal weapons.

Ella quickly ran to her drawer for her knife and held it near her. Shrek grabbed a trophy from Ella's table and held it in both hands, gripping it as tight as he could. Daniel smirked and scoffed,"Oh, Ella, I guess you and your "best friend" are already up, What next? Are you going to kill me?" Ella coughed, trying to create saliva and she spat at him and shouted,"You're a piece of SCUM you know that don't you! Why didn't you ever tell me that my mum died?!" Daniel looked at her and hissed,"IF I TOLD YOU, YOU WOULD HAVE FOUND OUT ABOUT WHO I REALLY AM! Are you bloody stupid?!" 

Ella took her shoe off and threw it at him, knocking him to the ground,"That's it Daniel, I am done!" And she got her knife and stabbed his forearm twice and then spat on him a second time, this time landing in his eye. Daniel looked at her smirking and scoffed,"Well, that's not what a lady does!" Ella stood on his foot and replied,"What do you care how I act, your are selfish and immature as hell!"

Suddenly Daniel got up and grabbed Ella's throat with his dominant hand held a knife in his other hand. Ella dropped her knife and gasped for breath but couldn't all she felt was Daniel's hand pressing into her windpipe. Shrek suddenly grabbed for the knife and stabbed Daniel in the neck and hit him in the head with his lead piping. Daniel was unconscious...I think...
