*Present Time 2013*

"What do you mean you can't come tonight?" I asked questioning Taylor over the phone.

"Well Andrew is taking me out for a valentines day dinner to this really fancy place and I think he might pop the question!" She squealed over the receiver. I rolled my eyes, Andrew is Taylor's boyfriend they've been dating for a year now and she swears he's the one. They've only been dating for a year, he is not the one.

"Taylor you know how long I have saved up for these tickets. We are seeing Ed fucking Sheeran and your canceling because of andrew?!"

"I know but Andrew said-"

"I don't care what he said! Taylor you do realize I have no one else to go with?" I put Taylor on speaker and rummaged through my closet in my very small apartment.

"You could always call Ryan..."

"No ew god no, Ryan's a creep and like what 32 I'm 19 that's awkward."

"A 19 year old whose smarter than Einstein."

"Thanks but no."

"Oh you know it's true, your the only 19 year old who I know who has successfully dropped out of high school and is student teaching without a college degree. Did I mention you have a killer body and your curves are to die for. Please tell me how you are not the female Einstein."

"You sound like a lesbian and stop trying to change the subject...are you serious about the killer body though?"

Taylor laughed,"Yes and tonight you can use your killer body to real in the boys."

"Taylor its an Ed Sheeran concert not a night club."

"Sorry I gotta run but you will have a great time give Ed a kiss for me! Love you bye!!!" She hung up before I had time to retaliate back, bitch.

Maybe it's good that I'm going alone, give me a little me time especially since I deal with second graders everyday. I picked out an over sized grey sweater, a orange beanie that a friend gave me back in high school and skinny jeans.

Just like in high school my hair was still ómbred, some things did change though. For example, I got a new car and a paid student teaching job at a local school down the block. I dropped out of high school because of heartbreak and the bullying for liking a "dork." My parents weren't the proudest when I dropped out but now I'm living a steady life with almost no financial trouble. I said almost! Adjusting my orange beanie and fixing my hair I made my way out of my apartment.I figured I would just walk avoiding traffic but right as I stepped outside, I knew I made the wrong choice.

I took a sip from my diet coke as I waited for the show to start. I bounced my foot impatiently while I chatted on the phone with my mom. I zoned out while she rambled on about how I need a boyfriend how most nineteen year olds are already getting married, which is a complete lie because I've never met a nineteen year old who would get married so young. Taylor thinks Andrews popping the question tonight and if he is then I'll at least know one mid my age whose getting married.

"Mom, I'm so busy with teaching and getting my degree that I don't have time for a boyfriend. Plus, I don't even think anyone's interested in a high school drop out that works with eight year olds." I could hear her sigh over the receiver,"How about that Marcel kid he liked you."

"I haven't seen him in two years, just be glad I'm not shagging every guy I run into." I looked up and saw a guy my age with curly brown hair starring at me with his mouth open.

"Oh um sorry." he said nervously looked down at his feet.

"No no don't worry about it." I stood up to let him through.

I spoke into the phone,"look my mom I'll call you later this week, the shows gonna start. Love you bye!" I gratefully hung up my phone, stuffing my phone in my bag then meeting a pair of green eyes starring at me again.

I looked around uncomfortably,"is there something on my face or...?"

"I'm sorry it's just ugh, never mind. Hi I'm Harry." he smiled.

~Harrys POV~

There she was right in front of me, I thought I was never going to see her again. I missed her more than anything,I just couldn't keep my eyes off of her.

"is there something on my face or...?"

"I'm sorry it's just ugh, never mind. Hi I'm Harry." Well now I sound pathetic. She took my hand,"I'm rylie...hey you look familiar." She pulled her hand away and looked at me while I looked around and laughed nervously. She remembers me, she never forgot.

"You're the kid in the band! Style right?" She smiled, god I've missed that smile.

"Yeah, I'm that kid." I said trying to sound excited but I was expecting her to say a different name.

"Thats cool, I like bands."

"Me too." I sighed, this was awkward horribly awkward,"you like Ed?"

"Yes I love him! I've been saving up for these tickets for a while now and I was supposed to come with a friend but she bailed. Stupid valentines day." She whispered the last part but loud enough so I could hear.

"What's wrong with valentines day?" I cracked a smile.

"It's so overrated just think about it, a holiday dedicated to your love life. It's just another lame excuse to buy skanky lingerie and to get laid."

"Not all lingerie is skanky you know?"

She laughed and I swear my stomach erupted in butterflies,"Cheeky one you are, so whose your valentine?"

"Don't have one." I shrugged tossing my hair around.

"Oh come on you have to one being in the biggest boy band and all. If I had a penny for every girl in my second grade class who brought in a one direction poster I would be backstage right now."

"You teach second grade?" I asked, I don't remember rylie ever wanting to become a teacher.

"Yes and don't ignore my question Harry." She giggled.

"The answer is no I don't have a valentine and where's your valentine?"

"I don't have one." She sipped her drink, probably diet coke she's always loved that.

"You sure? A beautiful girl like you there has to be a guy maybe a teacher you work with?"

She laughed,"hell no, all the male teachers I work with are perverts with bad breath who like to hit on me."

"Oh so there are teachers who like you."

"Ew Harry you're gross."

"I know but you aren't denying my question." I smirked.

"Okay my boss, he's like 32 and he's so gross you don't even understand." She laughed and as did I, the lights began to dim and screams erupted throughout the room. Rylie was standing and screaming as well, I made a mental note to get her backstage passes.

Ed walked on stage guitar around his body,"This one is for all of our valentines day lovers." He spoke into the microphone before playing the beginning chords of "kiss me". I couldn't help but grab rylie by her hip and press my lips to hers,"will you be my valentine?"

She giggled and muttered a "yes" resting her head on my shoulder. If only she knew.
