"what the fuck happened yesterday?" michael asked taking another sip of his tea. i laughed slightly almost making a pun. michael invited me out for tea and well tea. "luke was at his locker" i sigh. "so you're telling me you didn't talk to me or luke the entire day because he was at his locker? bullshit, i'm calling it." he scoffs. "michael... i saw luke kissing anothor girl-"

"let me guess, veronica... no victoria, wait no no natalie.. no she tried to key his car that day... i got it! it was  alex?" he chuckled leaving me confused. "you think of ashton as this bad person to have a relationship with... okay he is but that's besides the point. luke isn't as holy as you think, he's not ashton but he's not that far off either. he tells us the dirty details but only shows you the side of him most people don't get to see. but it's also the same way with ashton do you really think any of those girls at schools have been to ash's house not to fuck not to watch netflix and just hang out. it sounds like nothing to you probably but they literally get fucked in restaurant bathrooms, under the bleachers, at their house or in school bathrooms. you know it's true. you made luke into the person who can do no wrong to you but he did that's why it hurts so much." he simply shrugged sipping his tea. " i... i just don't know anymore after he kissed me the day before that entire week he made me feel so special and i felt like i mean't the world to him but-"

"there is no but to that last comment you mean the world to him and there's no denying that," he says. "call him and tell him you still want to be friends, because if he calls me crying again-"

"he called you crying about me not wanting anything to do with him?" i asked, "yes! it was kind of cute actually he doesn't cry much around us. but ariel if luke calls me for the-" he looks at his hand jokingly counting. "the 16th time in the past 2 days i will come to your house with luke and lock you two in a room together... never mind you two might like that," he said suggestively wiggling his eyebrows. "shut up michael," i laughed. "fine," he giggled throwing his hands up in surrender. "i have to go i actually have a date," he simply said making me look down at the time. "oh shit me too,"

"wait whose your date," he questioned folding his arms. " i'll tell you if you tell me yours first"

"i asked first" he said childishly. "fine same time" he simply nodded in response.

"i could've sworn you just said ashton irwin" he commented raising his brow. "... maybe"

" mhmm," well have fun i should probably leave to go get ready, you should too" he smirked. he drunk the rest of his tea waving goodbye to me.  i pulled out my phone debating for a while. i finally unlock my phone quickly unblocking luke's number.

i sigh in relief "sup this luke... um leave a message i guess," i laughed a little. "hi... i probably overreacted yesterday i mean it was stupid to think you liked me and i mean you can do as you please... i just don't want to stop being best friends is what i called to say... so you around maybe at christmas.... well bye."

i rummage through my closet trying to find my my shoes only to hear the doorbell. i opened the door to only see luke standing there. "i got your messages and i thought that we should talk," he smiled. "i brought all of your favorites, tacos, cheesecake and rent... that movie you like..." he fumbled a little. " actually luke i have a date tonight-"

"with who?" he questioned and right on queue ashton honks his horn and waves. " with him?" he scoffed. "well yeah,"

"but ariel i,"

"luke what? you what? you kissed another girl after making me feel like you actually liked me," i simply say. "you don't have a say in what i do,"

"a gentleman always greets a lady at the door," ashton giggled walking up to the door. "hi, luke" he said his giggling demeanor quickly changed. "are you ready you go, love?"

"yea- wait luke your jacket is inside on the couch if you want." i say following along the side of ashton. "see you later luke," i waved.
