DEIFYING NERD

Chapter 1

Mason's OV:

I woke up to find the sun blazing through the window and myself laying on the kitchen table surrounded by my textbooks, i must have fell asleep while studying again. This tends to happen quite a lot depending on how many hours of studying i do at school. I would have have got it done if it wasn't for my daily bully, Jackson, Who comes along to surprise me everyday with a different 'exercise' meaning i either get shoved into a locker, hit and punched or if i'm lucky my head goes to the good old toilet. And that's all because i'm a nerd. what even deifies a nerd?

I continue wondering about this (as i do daily) as i get up from the table and wonder to the bathroom to have a shower. Soon after i get out going to my room and chuck on the same clothes as i normally wear. Faded jeans, plain white top and my blue sweater and finish it of with plain brown boots. i know, i know, it doesn't go together but people never notice be anyway.

I comb my hair and head down stairs and collect my books and lunch. I shove them into my bag and zip it up using the little muscle that i have, and decide to eat some food. I stop and scan the options. Apple, Bread, Yogurt and a packet of Pop-Tarts. after seeing the apple was going soft and the bread was torn and the yogurts date was expired last week, looks like we are having the Chocolate Pop-Tart. Not that i'm complaining. I put it in the toaster and smile and the smells of Chocolate filled the room. Hurry up toaster. Why is it taking so long? *POP* ITS DONE! I take it out and chuck it on the plate and sit patiently. "Okay sweetie we are leaving again." my mothers voice called to me. They are always on trips and i'm lucky if i see them once every two months. But i don't mind because they are the ones bringing in the money. "Oh okay were's dad?" i call to her. "He left earlier to grab some things from the office." my face fell. "Don't worry sweetie i will tell him you say bye. OH GOD! I have to go." She twaddled over to me and kissed me on the head. "love ya sweetie." she oped the door and stepped out , but before she shut it she said one last thing. "Oh and can you try to look better at school and least try to look cool" she slammed the door shut! WHAT DID SHE SAY? She pretty said what i wore is bad and i should try to cool. Ill put that on my list for...let me see..... NEVER. I look cool in my own way.

I realized that i only have today left of school before summer break. and after that i'm at a new school. I think its called Lyndle High School. Sounds better than Aldrie High. Speaking of Aldrie high off to school i go.
