I let a quiet moment pass
Careful not to relapse
The silence is so strong
It lasts much too long
I speak just to hear
Something to calm this fear
Alone in this room
My mind is like a tomb
Death is all I see
Nothing I want to be
Imprisoned in this loneliness
Only the feeling of hopelessness
Yet I can't run away
Just another silent day
As my mind continues to decay
