Woken up by the crys of my mother and the beating of my step father it 5 in the morning and i can't sleep it's nothing new i mine as well get ready for school so i slowly roll out of bed turning on the neon green and purple lamp on the side of my bed " what the hell Imani' " said my older sister Simone putting the pillow over her head i really just can't freaking stand her just 17 & she has a daughter named Kayla she 1 years old i love that little girl to death i take care of her more then both of her parents put together i walked to the bathroom of the small 3 bedroom apartment my family live in located in Brooklyn New York as i walked to the bathroom i removed some crust from he corrner of my eye when i finally reached the bathroom i grabbed my rag turning the faucet on waiting for the brownish water to turn clear once it did i washed my face , brushed my teeth and took care of my hygeine putting on my red skater skirt black shirt tucked in & my red convers with my hair in a bun i grabbed my phone and my bag kissed Kayla goodbye and headed to the door walking pass my no good crackhead mom & my dead beat stepdad getting the death stare i swear i wanted to say something but i look to cute and don't have time to pop him so i just ignore it and walk away as i walked to the subway i got a call from my big brother Jacob known as Princeton from Mindless Behavior but just plain old Jake to me he's on tour now and i miss him so much " Hey Jake " i said with a
