Careless Mistake (part 2)

Oh great! To make things more dramatic. Heavy rain on Mizuki's first mission as the boss's right hand.

The curtains of the window flowing vigorously in the storms winds were the only sign of her entry. And by the booming of the thunder, no one heard her footsteps landing on the windowsill, and snucked her way to the second floor hallway. Adjusting her black mask and hood, she willed herself to melt into the shadows to become nothing but itself.

A guard trudged his way over the window, grumbling as he shut the window calming the flowing curtains after she reached the end of the hall. The guard didn't notice the wet foot prints on the floor.

She descent from the staircase with the lighting slightly illuminating her figure but gone as the light flash away. She took a left turn and listened for any sign of guards talking, she hears nothing and took a shuddered breath.

She's alone in the dark hallway and during a storm is present in the middle of the night. This basically says that the boss's right hand assassin is afraid of the dark with a storm present. Pathetic I know.

She went back to the vent from the other day before quietly opening it again and used her fruit power to make herself float in since the vent is on the ceiling before closing it. She crept her way to the storage room and opened the vent again this time she didn't closed it, she went over the storage room door and her guess was right. The door could only be unlocked from the inside. She unlock the door first before running through her escape plan first. She placed magnetic bombs all over the place with a small click the ticking noise starts.

Guards appeared from the vent as she ran away from the unlocked storage room.

4 seconds. She only needed 4 seconds.

2 seconds to run.
2 seconds to launch her grappling hook.
1 assassin to destroy all artificial devil fruit and S.A.D in the storage room.
1 night to do it all.

Such a shame though. There was no blood involved with her first mission. Aww.

~time skip~
Mizuki stalked her way to the firm with a smug grin and crossed arms on her covered face. Despite her dark and suspicious outfit the guards from her firm didn't stop her, everyone knew who she is. Funny thing is she usually arrived bloodied but now, not even a scratch was on her suit.

"Must have been another mission accomplished from the way you look right now Echo." One of the guards says chuckling.

"Yup! Too bad it's quite different from before" she said. They nodded in agreement and she approached the open doors from his boss's office, her black hooded cloak sweeping behind her.

Her eyes slightly widen when she saw who was with her father.

Kid.

"Is it done Echo?" Her father asked with a raised eyebrow , she nodded.

"Oh I see. Well I was expecting you to come back tomorrow night though." Her father said while shaking his head in amusement.

"Well, I don't think dilly dallying would be any good" Mizuki replied and the boss nods in agreement.

"By the way this is my son, Kid my successor. Kid this is Echo my champion, she just came back from blowing up a firm's storage room" Her father proudly said gesturing from Kid to Mizuki.

"Pleasure to meet you, young boss" She greets her own brother with a slight bow. She heard Kid grunt and mumbled something.

"Don't call me that, I already refuse to take over this firm." He grumbles. The boss sighs and tried to ignore his son's statement.

"Are there any deaths during the mission?" The father asked, she smirked.

"Yeah. Just a couple of blasted limbs and guts. They were burned though so there wasn't any blood" She said casually with a small frown emphasizing the word blood.

"Fine, Echo for your next mission. Find the person who is in charge of creating those S.A.D and artificial devil fruits. Track them down will you?" He said, she refuse the urge to look at his brother in eye and walks towards the window.

"They'll be gone by tomorrow. I assure you that." She said looking back with her lips curled upwards and making her eyes taint with thrill and excitement.

"I don't want my champion to sulk around just because she didn't see any blood for a day"

"Thanks I'll be off now. It's nice meeting you Kid" she said and jump off the window landing on her car perfectly.

"Show off!" She heard his father yell out the window. She chuckles a little and drove back home to investigate on her next victim.

While they celebrate their successful mission a certain firm's boss was fuming with anger.

"Tell me who was the one who broke in?!" Doflamingo seethed through his gritted teeth.

"We don't know the cctv just showed a cloaked figure who seems to have a devil fruit power." Gladius said monotonously. He hit the play button to reveal Mizuki using her devil fruit power to get in the vent.

"Wait a minute, isn't Mizuki D. Eustass supposed to be dead?" Doflamingo asked to himself. Later on a chuckle erupted from him as he grins widely.

"What do you suggest we do Doffy?"

"Let her be. Let's see what's on her mind and wait" he replied evilly.

"Ok. Although I have one question in mind" Gladius said, Doflamingo turn to him and raised an eyebrow.

"What is it?"

"Why didn't she just use the door from the inside of the mansion to the storage room?" There was a small silence before Gladius himself stifles a laugh and Doflamingo just shook his head.

"Contact Caesar and immediately order another set of S.A.D and artificial devil fruits" Doflamingo said, Gladius nods and took out his phone and dialed Caesar's number.
After a few minutes the enemy's firm received a grim reminder.

"Doffy, unfortunately Caesar is dead along with the whole factory."
