Chapter 6
I wake up in a panic, gasping for air. I hear commotion over in the closet. "Drew?" I ask. "Is that you?" The doors open and out walks Andrew.
"Drew!" I croak running to him like a maniac. He wraps me up in his arms and I smile. Andrew is my neighbor back home. He and I have been best friends since birth. "I've come to take you home." he says stroking my hair.
"He's not going to let me leave! He marked me! He cut my wings off! He'll kill you! You have to get out of here, Andrew! Right now!" He shakes his head and in the moment I grab him by the shoulders."Andrew, listen. I'm being dead serious. He will kill you!" I say staring him straight into the eye. "and I don't want you to get hurt because of me." I add. I feel his arms wrap around my waist and begin to pull me to him. Before I could think another thought he leans down and kisses me. it has passion and heat. The door barges open but his lips still longer on mine. When they part I look over and see Derek and his whole body is black. His inner demon is out.
