Aphmau's past ~=* A forgotten memory*=~ [Discontinued]

~*~Chapter 9~*~ Dying in a dream??

Aphmau's POV
I don't know how I got there but I was running, from something, I didn't know. I looked behind me and saw a black shadow, and it was gaining on me. I kept running, dashing between trees under the new moon, giving no light. The thing cackled, sending shivers up my back. " You'll never get away this time, I know it's you, why did you abandon me!? Why did you trust them, we could have been together." I started tearing up, blurring up my vision, "I don't know what your talking about!" I shouted back. I continued running, but I looked back. Bad idea. I gasped and tripped over a tree root, slamming into the ground, face first, and cried out in pain. I turned over to see the dark shadow approaching, getting closer and closer. The thing kneeled down, and lifted my chin,"why......HOW COULD YOU!" He reared back, preparing to strike, and I put my arm up thinking that I could block at least something. But as fast as light, literally, a white light blasted him back 10 feet.
My eyes widened, "Was that me??." I scrambled back, looking at my hands, I ,knew I had magiks, but not that powerful...
"Hmm yes and no.." Replied a voice, me?...no, it sounded ...older? I looked up and saw a girl with black hair, a little longer than mine, wearing a white dress and a blue cloak, rimmed with gold. She had Hazel eyes and a kind smile, but changed when the dark shadow, reformed and stood up. Then it all melted away revealing a man, with black hair and holding a purple sword, casting a dark light against his robes. He look mildly confused but narrowed his eyes when he saw the girl beside me. "You too have the same aura... Are...are you the same person?...."
The girl next to me, remained with her stony face, but replied" Yes...well no, not exactly. But I am Irene."
"Then who is she"the man said pointed at me
"A mere part of my consciousness." She replied, "now what do you want...shad... You have no right to go into people's dreams."
He snarled," I want revenge, you left me, abandoned me to go with the others, you fought me, denied everything I said. I just wanted to give you some of my pain, maybe to her." He nodded towards me and winked, it wasn't like " you'll be fine" more like " I'm gonna eat you next" kind of thing.
Next to me, Irene lowered into a stance, pushing me behind her. " I'm not letting you anywhere near me...her....us....you know what I mean!"
He snickered then lunged, readying his sword and hit Irene with the flat of his blade, smiling but instantly winced when she landed, he must of still had some affection for her. He turned towards me,"say bye bye" then swung his sword down at me...

JUST KIDDEN, NOW TO CONTINUE HEHEHEE

*clang!* There I was with me glowing sword, and shad's bearing down against. While he had the small conflict between his feelings when he smacked away Irene, I silently touched my charm, and at the right time, it materialized in front of me, all I did was hold it in place, then he sliced down.
I grunted from the force, and slowly started to push back. We were some how about equal strength but I had an idea, every time I used a charm it would flash a bright light, hopefully this would stun him for a but so I can push him away and help Irene. I looked up to see the man's face, his sword and my arms pushing against my sword. The charms were right there in front of my, only if I could let go of one arm...was it even possible to die in a dream? I didn't want to find out. I look torwards Irene, and some kind of understanding came between us. She called to Shad, " What would happen if I told you that I did love you, I just left you to make you jealous."
He blinked and stopped pushing down, "I-is that true, do y-you still lo--"
I grabbed for one of my charms, any of them. It flashed, and for good measure even made a loud popping noise. Shad stumbled back, blind momentarily by the light, and I ran towards Irene. Together we stood there watching Shad recover. He growled, "You'll never get away, my knights will destroy you, just you beware." And with that he dissolved into shadows, leave the only clue that he was ever there, a red bandana. Irene walked forward and picked up the bandana, I could see her trying to grasp some feeling, but remained black faced. While in the mean time, I was mentally shocked. "W-what did you mean, I'm just a mere part of your consciousness..."
"Oh Aphmau, I haven't seen you since you were....um born.."
"What dose that mean..."
She sighed and slowly looked up," If your wondering why we look so similar..it's cause you are me...Aphmau...in my past years I've gone through so much fighting, so much pain that....I can feel, it's like losing your sense, you don't know who, what, and where you are. You Aphmau, was a part of my I sent you to feel, have emotions..to experience love, and care back at the people who cared for you.."
I was shocked, "s-so you mean I'm .....not real?"
"Your me, well Irene, this is just a memory, that surfaced in your dream, and--"
A voice interrupted her mid sentence " hello? Um wake up!"
Irene nodded and looked towards me," Well it's time to go..someone awaits you in reality."
And wig that the dream started to glow, everything around me including the sky, turned into white light like the sun was replacing the moon. I called out ," Will I ever see you again??" But her voice was a faint whisper, but I swore I heard the word,"love.....ill miss you....will say hi to your mom some time..." Then I woke up face to face with that boy, of course I scream. The boy jumped back," woah, don't need to awaken each and every shadow knight to come find us." Rubbing his ears. I stopped screaming,blushing a slight pink," oh yea..heh sorry." I looked around realizing we were in the same spot that I fell unconscious, just a little fire was added.  The boy was leaning against a rock looking up at the night sky," sooo....umm...what's your name..I-im Laurence." He was blushing really hard, it was kinda cute though. "I'm Aphmau...." I replied, "oh cool, that's a very original name to have."
"Yea, I guess so...you wanna go back to my camp?"
"Wait you had a camp the whole time I was freezing in here??"
"Yep!" We both laughed, it felt good after what had happened in my dream, with the boy and "AngelWings!" I didn't know if she was safe"cmon, let's go, I need to know if a friend is ok."
"Oh ok ok, I'm coming." And I started sprinting towards the trees.
