The Rainy Day

Lucy's POV
Second Period- Friday

I'm looking outside the window of Mr. Happy's class. I love science but his room has the prettiest view of the trees. The sky is cloudy

'It's probably going to rain by lunch' I thought to myself 'If it is raining by lunch I'll go to the library with Loki or something, at least if he isn't hanging out with Aries'

I can still see a hint of the morning dew on the pink petals of the tree, even though it is almost 10:00 am I always seem to point out those types of things. I was just imagining laying under the tree on a tiny hill, until I hear the voice of Mr. Happy

"Ms. Heartfilia do you know the answer of why we have seasons" he asked like I didn't know the answer, I gave him the most blunt answer "It's because we are always tilted on an 23.5 angled axis. Mr. Happy I learned this in Junior High"

"Well would you like to explain it" he seemed irritated "My pleasure" I say in a mocking voice

I walk up to the front of the class and explain how we have different seasons.

"Okay Ms. Heartfilia you can sit down now" he said in a monotone voice

"Now class, who knows what season it is best to catch fish in" he said seeming back to his normal self

'Him with his damn fish, all we learn about in this stupid class is fish. I'm not learning anything, why go to school if I won't learn anything'

Mr. Happy was my least favorite teacher, to think he is married to my favorite Mrs. Carla

Yes the bell now I get to go to a class with a good teacher, 3rd period Mrs. Carla- Math

I go outside and it's raining hard, I rush across the environmental-Hallway, which is where all the trees were. The trees looked beautiful in the rain, maybe not in this rain but when it sprinkles they look phenomenal.

Natsu's POV
At Lunch

I look over to a lunch table to see my best friend looking down at her food, yes I'm talking about Lucy. She was at a two person table, so I walk over with my food and ask "Anyone sitting here"

"No you can sit there Natsu" Lucy said sounding hurt like something happened "What happened" I said shoving a chicken wing in my mouth "I can listen while I eat btw" I said which made her laugh

"Well I asked Loki if he wanted to sit with me and her said no, I also asked him if he wanted to go to the library with me after we eat, and he said him and Aries are going to sit outside and meditate" she said, I felt like fire was bubbling up inside me. She was so hurt by this guy, I call my friend.

I wanted to really know if the were going to 'meditate' so after lunch I asked Lucy to come with me. She told me they would probably be behind the lunch building, which was a long building.

We made it behind the building no one was there. We didn't see nor hear anyone. I was happy that no one was there, I never liked seeing Lucy cry.

It broke my heart, as if I were seeing a little sister crying about a boy. I would surely hunt any boys that broke my little Lucy's heart.

Yet I'm jealous whenever I see Loki and Lucy being cute together.

I looked into Lucy's eyes which seemed to be looking at a tree on top of a small hill.

"To think every day I have wanted to relax under that tree, especially when it was raining" she paused and pointed at the tree "but today, the perfect time, I almost feel like a force is pushing me away from it" she laughed

"Why did I ever think Loki would cheat on you, you are pretty much perfect, smart, beautiful, and surprisingly poetic" the words just came out of my mouth, like I had no control.

I see a tint of pink on her cheeks "I kind of thought it too, he is always either with her or talking about her. Today on our date I really want to know what's going on with them" she said in a monotone voice, as she was just looking at the tree, no emotion at all.

I was worried and asked her what's wrong, no reply. It was her just starring at the tree.

"Let's go inside or you'll get a cold" I said to her "Yea lets go inside, don't want to get a cold" she looked at me, I could tell my Luce was back.

'What just happened there' I though to myself as we were running inside.
