"John there they are." Sam, the police officer we were in the helicopter pointed yet again, more survivors.

John flew the helicopter down to pick up the people who were on the ground. The boys, Bianca and myself were packed into this helicopter together. We've been flying for over an hour, picking up more and more survivors. No one else could fit into this helicopter so they had to call more to help.

I looked down just as we flew up to collect more survivors. After a while I recognised where we were. My hometown. Everything was destroyed. The buildings had crumpled down, bits and pieces were all over the place. There was blood all over the asphalt, along with some people. I turned my head away from the scene. I couldn't bare to look at it. All the memories were flooding back into my mind. The good times I had with my friends, family. Speaking of family, are the still alive? Are they here?

"Are you okay Charlie?" Niall asked lifting my head up to look in his eyes.

"I'm f-fine. This is w-where I'm from,"I sniffled, "I don't even know if my family is still alive." Tears began falling from my eyes.

I wiped them away and sat up. John and Sam were outside looking at the damage.

"Could we um, go to my house and see if they're still there?" I asked looking at the boys.

"Sure." Harry attempted at giving me a reassuring smile, unfortunately it didn't work.

The thought that my parents could be dead was still looming in the back of my mind. What would I do? I mean, I don't have any family except my brother, but we lost contact with him a while ago. So in reality, I have nowhere to stay.

"John could we go and walk around?" I asked as he hoped back into the helicopter.

"Yea sure. We're going to stay around for a while anyway, just be carful." He smiled.

We all piled out of the helicopter and looked around. I gestured for them to follow me. Walking around the place brought fresh tears to my eyes. When we arrived at my house, I couldn't control myself. I ran up the stone pavement up to the front door. Opening it and running into the house I started screaming.

"MUM!"

No answer.

"DAD!"

No answer again. I ran into all of the rooms, until I walked into their room. I carefully opened the door. I dropped to the ground when I saw them. They weren't sitting on their bed talking like they always do. Both of their bodies were on the ground, covered with blood. There was blood on the floor surrounding them. Tears were streaming down my face when Niall walked in. He ran over to me and wrapped his arms around me. I lent my head on his chest and cried. I don't think I've ever cried this much. We sat there for a long time until I was sure I couldn't cry any more.

"What am I going to do Niall?" I asked looking up into his sky blue eyes.

"I'm not sure. But I know we'll work this out." He reassured me.

He stood up and held his hand out for me. I grabbed it and he pulled me up. He pulled me in for a hug and wouldn't let go. Once he finally did, we walked back down the stairs and out into the front yard. The boys were sitting around talking as if nothing happened. We walked up to them and sat down on the grass. They all looked up to us as we sat down.

"Are you okay?" Harry asked, giving me a look of sympathy.

"Um, yea I'll tell you later." I gave him a little smile.

They all looked to me then resumed with their activity. As Niall sat next to me, I lent my head on his shoulder. We sat their for a while until Harry suggested we go back to John and Sam. We all walked back silently. No one said anything. The only thing that could be heard was our shoes rubbing against the gravel.

"Ah, there you guys are. We were wondering when you would come back." He smiled and motioned for us to climb back into the helicopter.

"Okay, so now we've received a call from the boys management. We need to drop all of you off. Even you Charlie." He looked over to me.

We all nodded our heads as the helicopter began to take off.

"So, could you tell us what happened?" Harry asked, breaking the silence.

"Okay," I turned to face them all, "well, I walked around the house trying to find my parents. I couldn't find them so I looked in their room. They w-were lying o-on the floor d-dead." I covered my face with my hands, trying not to cry.

Tears began rapidly falling from my eyes, rolling slowly down my cheeks. Niall grabbed my shoulder and carefully pulled me so my side was leaning on him. I buried my head in his shoulder, soaking his t-shirt. He stared rubbing my shoulder soothingly.

"Oh, I'm really sorry for asking." Harry apologised. I looked up to him with a sad smile.

"I-It's fine. I just have no idea what I'm going to do." I finally stopped my self from crying.

"Don't worry about we'll find something." He said, smiling one of his famous ones.

The rest of the ride there consisted of us talking about random things. I never realised how much fun these guys were. While we were hiding we never really got time to just talk about anything, it was all about how we were going to survive or what we were going to do next. I learnt so much about these boys in the two hour ride we've had. Like how they're the biggest boy band in the world. Although, I thought I recognised them from somewhere. It just never really clicked.

"Guys we're here." John announced as he landed the helicopter.

We all climbed out and looked around. I didn't recognise the area, so I had no idea where we were. The boys started walking towards what looked like an office. I followed behind not sure where I was going. We walked into what looked to be a recording studio. Before I could properly look at the place, I was dragged into another room that looked like an office.

"Welcome guys. Good to see you again." He stopped and shifted through some papers. "You're probably wondering why no one was effected here, it's because the attack didn't hit this part of the country." One of the men sitting behind a long table explained.

We all nodded our heads. I looked around trying to figure out who these people were and why I was here.

"Charlie. You're probably also wondering why you're here?" He said, looking over to me.

"Um, yea." I replied, a bit confused.

"Well we know about your parents. We knew that you had nowhere else to go so we brought you back with the boys. As for you boys, we need to sort some things out." He looked over at the boys, who were standing next to me.
