Prompt: Can you do a fic with Niall and one of the boys where they are playing football or video games and Niall just randomly says “hey wanna get married?” And the other looks kind of shocked and tackles him and says of course!
A/N: I needed to get a fic out there…so I did a simple plot. Enjoy

Niall couldn’t do it…..he wanted to. But he couldn’t. Whenever he got Liam alone, and in the perfect condition to ask, he chickened out. And Louis was kind enough to point it out.
“Ni, he loves you and you love him. I don’t see the problem” Louis said as they waited in the kitchen. Liam and Zayn were arguing with Harry over whose turn it was on the FIFA game.
“Says you. You and Harry have sworn to be just fuck buddies. No strings attached” Niall pouted as Louis rolled his eyes.
“Stop making excuses and just do it, Ni.” Louis said.
“Ni, come here. You’re on Zayn’s team, Liam is on mine” Harry waved the Irish lad over.
Niall walked over and took a seat on the couch.
“You and Li play first” Zayn said; handing Niall the controller.
“Fine” Niall said as they started the match.
The blonde’s head wasn’t in the game. He kept letting his eyes drift to Liam’s perfect, concentrated grimace. The way his eyebrows creased when he was playing. There was no way in the world Niall could ever be worth his love; but there was no way he could go without it.
“Liam will you marry me?” Niall asked.
The room froze. Louis smirked and leaned on the counter while Harry and Zayn exchanged excited looks. Liam’s brown eyes turned on Niall.
“OF COURSE NIALL!” Liam threw his arms around Niall, discarding the controller.
Niall wrapped his arms around his new fiance and smiled.
“I love you” Liam muttered.
“Simple….” Harry started.
“But effective” Louis finished with a grin.
