Promise Me

After school I waited outside for Keith. He should've been here at 3:30. It's 4:10 now, and there's still no sight of him. "Should I stay longer or leave?" I kept asking myself "you know what it's fine, I'll just wait a bit more." I said fifteen minutes prior "this is just stupid why am I even waiting for Keith?"I began walking away when a car pulled over next to me.

"Hey doll sorry I'm late!" Keith jokingly apologized.

"Just screw off Keith." I had an angry tone.

"Come on, just hop in, and we'll get a bite to eat" I kept walking, and he kept driving next to me.

"Fine." I gave in.

I got in the car, after like 15 minutes. We pulled over next to a fast food restaurant. We ordered food, and talked for a while.

"Hey! look sorry I was late. It's just that I wanted to get you something." He reached down his pocket meanwhile I ate some fries, and looked at the time.

"I was late, cause I wanted you to have this." He pulled out a ring.

"Is that-"

"A promise ring. Yup" he gave me a warm smile.

"Hah wow, I don't really know what to say." I was so shocked.

"Just say yes." He gave me a big puppy eyes look.

"Yes I guess, but why me?" I was still kinda speechless.

"Because I already told you. I care about you a lot." We went on talking, and talking for some time.

"Hold on, I need to go use the washroom."

"Sure I'll just be here." He said as I got up, and went to the washroom. I didn't really have to go I just wanted some alone time with the ring. The ring was adorable. I fixed my hair in the mirror, and I made sure that I looked descent, then I started to go back. Half way to the table this random guy just slapped my butt. Since our table was near by, Keith saw what happened, and quickly came to help.

"Better get your filthy hands off my girl." Keith said with all the anger in the world.

"Oh! sorry man. I didn't know his fine babe is your girl." the random guy smirked.

"You have got to be kidding me. Oh! that's it." And with that Keith started one of the biggest fights ever, which by the way yes in case you were wondering we got kicked out because of it.

Keith and I drove to this park, since it's night it was only me ,and him.

"Hey, look doll I'm sorry about the fight." Keith apologized.

I sighed "It's okay. I saw it coming from a mile. I just think you should relax sometimes that's all."

"I know I just can't help it. I get so protective over you." He looked at me then I looked at him. "I just care about you way too much."

"Yeah yeah!" I shut him up, after a while of silence I laid my head on his shoulder, which made him rest his head on my head.

We spent sometime together. He drove me back to my house, and kissed me goodbye.

When I got home I went up stair to my room. In my room I sat down to check my computer, only to find tons of Instagram DMS.

It turns out that in less, then four hours everyone knows about the promise ring.
