A family reunion

I let them in once I saw them at the door. I have been waiting forever for this moment. At first it was awkward because we knew what we are but not what to say or do.

"I'm sorry if this makes you uncomfortable. If you want us to go.." One of them rambled. I didn't know which one was Brie and which one was Nikki.

"No stay. It's just weird."

"As soon as we found out about you we went looking for you. We wanted to meet you." The other one spoke.

"So you guys never knew?" I gasp. That's why they wanted to meet me now!

"Yeah our mom isn't very open about stuff like this. Did you know that you were adopted?"

"Yeah. And I knew that I had older siblings. My parents said that you guys wanted nothing to do with me." I explained.

"Did you have a good childhood? Were you happy?"

"Yeah. I'm still happy now with my career and everything." I spoke then remembering the twenty million pieces I had to get done by morning. "Actually do you two know how to sew?" I ask. Maybe they could help me!

"Uh yeah sort of," one of them replied.

"I on the other hand don't know a thing!" The other confessed.

"Nikki you could cut some fabric or something!" Brie suggested.

"Actually you could go in the back and look for some fabric just like this," I ask as I showed her the dress Trace wanted me to take the fringe off of.

"That's beautiful Dani! I'll go look," Nikki took the dress and headed to the back of the shop while me and Brie started working on some of the pieces. All night the three of us worked on the orders and bonded. By 2 AM everything was done.

"Thank you guys so much! You're the best!" I hugged the both of them.

"It's no big deal girl! That's what sisters are for!" Brie said as she hugged me back.

"Yeah! I loved helping. I'll gladly help you anytime girl!" Nikki added.

"Oh I totally forgot! Jay wanted to meet you as well. He's out little brother. But I guess your older brother." Brie rambled.

"Well in a few weeks I'll be in New York for fashion week. I'm making a debut to America," I smiled.

"Sweet! We'll all come!" Brie smiled.

"Yay! Can't wait!" I cheer. The three of us say our goodbyes and they leave. I close up before heading to my flat. I fall asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
