"Damn it Sam! I'm tired of this! I'm done! I just want to be done and if you don't want to, don't follow!" I yelled as I tossed my hands in the air. Sam clenched his jaw as he watched me start for the door.

"Dean wait. If we do this, do you know what we will be missing? What we'll be messing up? We could kill more people than we save Dean." Sam says and he was making a lot of sense at the moment. I blocked him out.

"Well, then we could search for cases that we would go for and send other hunters to the area. We always find a way Sam. I need to do this. I need a break." I say with a sigh. Sam sighed as well and soon smiled.

"I'm going with you."

"W-what?" I asked surprised as tossed my duffle bag over my shoulder.

"I said I'm going with you. I need a break too Dean and this could be good for us. We could finally find out what it feels like to be... well... normal." Sam says with a smile. I smile as I spin my keys around my finger.

"Let's go to Iowa! I heard it has lots of small towns and we could learn everyone's names." I said as I grin ear-to-ear. Sam rolls his eyes.

"Take it easy there... we aren't there yet. How about Spencer, Iowa? It's a nice small town and we've had a case there once before. It was nice and quiet." Sam says and I smile and nod.

"Let's roll out!" I say and Sam chuckles. We were finally on our way to the Apple Pie Life. Finally.

~~~Charlie's P.O.V~~~
"Hey Charlie! Can you close up tonight?!" Shouted Lonnie from the kitchen. I rolled my brown eyes and smiled.
"Of course Lonnie! Have fun at your daughter's birthday." I shouted back. Lonnie's daughter, Georgia, was a real sweet girl. She was in her early twenties and Lonnie and few of Georgia's friends were going to be going to the bar downtown. I usually close up the diner anyway. I've worked at The Royal Diner for years now. Lonnie and I have been friends ever since I came to town a few years ago after my brother's death.
Lonnie came out of the kitchen and gave me a large hug. "God, what would I do without you!" Lonnie says as she hugs me tighter.
"C-can't breathe." I say and Lonnie lets go.
"Sorry Sweetheart. Keep up the sweeping, you're doing great." She says as she gives me a thumbs up and walks out the door with her jacket and purse. I smile as I shake my head and continue sweeping. The diner was pretty dead and I was extremely bored. I put the broom away and grabbed a few quarters out of my pocket and put it in the jukebox. I looked around to make sure I was alone and started playing "Imaginary Lover" by Atlanta Rhythm Section. I sung along as I danced and rocked my hips to the beat. It was dark outside and the main street lights were the only thing lighting up the sky. I continued singing as I slid behind the counter. It was about midnight and was two hours past the time I was supposed to close up. The bell above the door rang and made my singing stop and look up. Two men walked in and one was hot and the other was not.
"S-sorry, we're closed." I say as the short man and I made eye contact. The short man had bright green eyes and light brown spiky hair. Freckles dusted over his nose and cheeks. He had on a leather jacket and a flannel on underneath. The other one was tall and had long brown hair. He had light hazel eyes and was wearing a tan carhart jacket. The short man smirked as they both walked up the the counter.
"Well you don't seem like you're stopping us." He smirked. Why was his smirk so damn cute?!
"I-I uh, fine. What would you like to order?" I sighed as his smirk grew.
"Apple pie, a bacon burger, and uh... possibly your number?" His eyes sparkled and I froze. My eyes locked with his and I started getting lost in them. His smirk grew as he realized I got lost in his apple green eyes.
"C-coming right up," I said as I watched the tall guy go sit in a booth. "And here's my number." I say as I write a number on a napkin. Except, it wasn't my number. The napkin read: 867-530-99. I laughed at his expression as I passed him the napkin.
"Nice Sweetheart. Real funny are we?" He smiles as I laugh.
"Oh you wouldn't even believe me if I told you." I say as I made my way to the kitchen. I cooked the man his apple pie and bacon burger and came out to give it to him. I saw the tall man at the booth with his laptop and the short man with a beer in his hands. "Here you boys go." I say with a smile as I put the plates out on the table.
"You know, I'd be a really happy man if I got your real number." The short man says as he puts his beer down.
"And I'd be happy if I got to know your name." I say as the man smirked at my response.
"Hold on there Sweetheart, I was just getting there. I'm Dean and this is my little brother Sam." Dean says as Sam's eyes were still plastered onto his laptop. "Sam, this is when you look at the girl and say hi." Dean says with a smile and Sam looks up. He turns his head to me and almost jumps.
"Sorry, I didn't see you there." He says with a smile. I giggle.
"It's alright. Little jumpy huh?" I ask with a laugh. Sam laughs as Dean kinda just sits there and watches his food get cold. "Hey Dean, you know that pie tastes a lot better warm." I say as raise my eyebrow.
"When do I get that number I was promised?" He asks as he changes the subject. He starts piling food into his mouth and I giggle. He slides a napkin my way and it already has a pen on it. He smirks with a mouth full of pie. I smack my lips and bend down. I saw him look at my butt before looking at my handwriting. I  wrote down my number and slid it towards him.
"I'll see you around Dean. You boys better be going before I get in trouble." I say as I take their empty plates.
"Hey wait! I never got your name!" Dean shouts. I look over my shoulder at him and smirk.
"The name's Charlie and you boys need to get outta here before I kick you boys out." I say as I start walking towards the kitchen as I sway my hips. I felt Dean's eyes on my swaying hips as I disappeared in the kitchen. I heard the bell above the door and the door shutting. I sigh as I lean against the sink in the kitchen. "Damn it." I say as I feel my heart beating out of my chest.
~~~Dean's P.O.V~~~

"So where to now Sammy boy?" I asked as I got into my car. Sam shrugs.

"Well we're in Spencer already. We should go get a motel or something and tomorrow we need to search for jobs. We need to find an apartment or something." Sam says and I nod.

"Well, I'm definitely not going to share an apartment with you because... well... that girl back there was smokin' and-" Sam cuts me off.

"Dean stop! Just stop, I get it." Sam says and I chuckle. "Let's just go to that hotel up the road and stay there for a few days." Sam says. I nod as I pull into the hotel parking lot. We don't really stay in hotels much so this is like a rare memory for us. I ran to our room on the third floor and jump on the bed. "Well aren't you just five." Sam jokes as he places his duffle bag on his bed. I look at my fingers with a smile.

"I'm actually three." I joke and Sam chuckles.

"Fine then three year old. Let's go to bed." Sam says and I roll my eyes.

"Fine." I sigh as I get into PJ's and crawl into bed. I closed my eyes and the only thing I saw was Charlie. her laugh was joyful. Her brown eyes were dancing and her features were gorgeous. She was perfect. I sighed as I brushed off the idea and felt sleep weighing down on my eyelids.
