Unwanted Royalty

Chapter 4

Alex's POV
when I woke up the first thing that I thought was how the hell did end up in this room. Then it hit me, all the events came back to me. King Raphael saying hi to me, the world spinning. And then the panic attack started all over again.
As I was trying to regain my self when I herd someone clear their throat.
I tried to look but my tears made my vision blurry. I hurriedly wiped my eyes with my sleeve. As soon as my eyesight focused a very handsome, sexy and kissable guy appeared.
" so you think I'm handsome, sexy and kissable. Well I would say the say the same but I haven't seen everything" he said with a smirk playing on his face.
Sh*t I said that out loud.
" yes you did. Are you done checking me out cause I don't even your name. I've been sitting on this chair for the past hour, waiting for you to wake up."
" well you could have left. No one is forcing you to stay. The door is wide open and you could leave" I snapped. I don't know where the courage came from.
" feisty, I already like you, so what's your name beautiful. And by the way I'm Lucas but you could call me Luke. " he says flirtatiously.
" I'm I don't care but you could call me I want you in front of me right now." I resorted. My first thought when I saw him was this might not be as bad as I thought  but now I'm definitely against it.
" oh. Come on just tell me your name. I mean I should know the name of my future bride. Right?"
" could you please leave me alone. This isn't the best time to have a conversation. I have a killer headache and I need to rest. So can you please leave me alone? ". I took a deep breath as a finished.
" geez woman I'll go. And mom said your having dinner with us so get ready by 7. I'll send some maids to help you dress up and all. And there are some dresses around here. Dress sexy for me ,future wife. For now I shall go" he says before he leaves.
I went back to sleeping snuggling to the comforter.

I felt someone shaking me. I'm gonna fucking kill who ever it is. But I'll just stay in this comfy bed for a while. But the shaking started again.
" what do you want form me people" I lashed out. But it's not the queen or Lucas. It was a girl maybe the same age as me and an old woman. They were staring at me like I was a new thing to be discovered.
" sorry I thought it was someone else" I spluttered. This is the second time I embarrassed my self in front of these people.
" it's ok your highness, we just came to dress you up for dinner. I'm Maria and this is my granddaughter Eve." She says as I gave a smile to Eve "she'll be dressing you up, fixing you what ever you want to eat and where ever you want to go she has to be with you" she finished. I chuckled, they think I'm gonna run away or something. Stupid people I concluded.
" is there any problem your highness?" Maria asked. " No no everything is fine and please call me Alex." I say
" ok I'll leave you two. Get her cleaned and dressed in an hour Eve." Maria ordered Eve. She just nodded and Maria left.
" So what am I going to wear?" I asked Eve. " I don't know either but I'll run the bath for you and once your done I'll come up with some dress for you to wear." She said friendly.
" So do you go to Kingston High too?" I asked her trying to make a conversation.
" yes. Since Maria worked here for a long time they gave me a scholarship until I finish high school. I'm on my last year. " she says. I felt relief run through my body.
" Thank god your gonna be there, I would loose it if I didn't have any friends. "
" Yea about that, I don't think you should hang out with me. No royal is friend with a scholar student" she said giving me a sad face.
" pffffftt......... I'm no royal and it doesn't matter your my friend whether you like it or not. Your nice and all so I would still be friends with you even if I haven't met you here" I say as I gave her a warm smile. I'm getting a lot of confidence and I don't know where it's coming from lately.
" Ok, what ever you say Alex. The water is warm go take a shower and I'll pick out what you'll wear. " she says leaving the bathroom.
I slipped out of my short and tank top. I took a long shower , wrapped my self in the rob I found and went out the steamed bathroom.
As soon as I went out Eve started doing my makeup and my hair while we chatted. She told me about the castle, some rules, about Kingston high and the classes. When she's done she handed me new undergarments and a big puffy dress.
" No. Eve I don't wear dresses. Can you give me some shorts and a shirt?" I asked as polite as possible.
" But the queen gave orders. She told me to dress you in this." She says with a horrified look on her face.
" it's ok Eve I'll tell her I won't feel comfortable with a dress. She'll understand." I said trying to convince her.
" Ok, but if you get me into trouble your gonna go down with me. " she huffed and went into my walk-in closet.
She came back with denim shorts and a gray crop top. She gave them to me and left telling me I have 15 minutes to get dressed.
As soon as I was done I put on a converse I found on top the shoe shelf and went out the room skipping. I went down the stairs and felt all eyes on me.
There was the king and queen at each end of the table, Lucas at one side and a younger boy next to him. A younger version of the queen on the other side having an empty seat next to her.
I quickly went and sat down next to her as the queen gave me a glare. I just hope the night to get better.
