Alex's P.O.V
Like a bat out of hell I instantly start the entrée placed in front of me.
" How do you feel Alex?" The king asks out of concern.
" I'm all good now. Thanks" I say giving him my best smile.
" You might not know but I take education very seriously. It's the most important thing. Neither you or my son will stop going to school because of the marriage. since your in the same year as Luke and a graduate by the end, I don't want you to stop" he says in a serious tone.
" So I've already talked to the head of Kingston and you will start school on Monday. You will go with Luke or Eve ,that's up to you." Definitely Eve " and I've seen your grades and the subjects you take. All are science and I'm proud that you ace all of them" he says smiling this time.
" I don't think she's met the kids" the queen says trying to change the subject. I don't get that lady.
" I'm Benjamin. I'm 5 years old. Luke told me your gonna be his wife" the boy next to Lucas says.
" I'm Alex and it's nice to meet you Benjamin" I say relying, dogging his last statement.
" I'm Charlotte but you can also call me Charl like Luke does. I'm 5 years old, I'm benji's twin sister. I think you're pretty Alex " she says sweetly.
" your very pretty too. " I say not taking the smile off my face.
" well I'm Lucas but you can call me Luke. Charl is right, I think your pretty too" he says throwing me a wink.
So pissed I say " hi I'm Alex" hiding frustrations is very hard.
We ate dinner chatting a little. I was very full. So as a normal person I say " I'm gonna take a walk around."
" Take a walk with Luke. Get to know each other" the queen says before I leave.
I huffed and puffed. Luke catches up to me and laughs as I try to lose him.
" I can see you took my tip and dressed nice." He says from my back.
Ignore him I thought
" what, your not talking." He waits for a response but I act like I'm not paying attention.
" just to give you the heads up, don't embarrass me when you come to school. I have a reputation to keep up. " he says.
He chuckles when I pretend I can't listen to him. Then he leans in and kisses my cheek. " Night sweet cheeks" he smirks and leaves.
Blushing but still mad at him I walk back to my room. Change into night shorts and a tank top , went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and went to bed wishing tomorrow would be a better day.

I feel someone shaking me and I try to wake up and strangle whoever it is.
once I open my eyes I see Eve holding a jug of water I one hand and shaking me with the other
"What were you gonna do with that?" I ask my anger fading away only cause it was her.
she blushes and says "well........ if you weren't going to wake up I was gonna use since we were late already." she finishes.
" OK I'm going to act like you didn't just say that" I say and head to my bathroom
" so what do you think your gonna wear so I can take it out for you" she asks opening my closet door which is in a separate room.
" casual I guess. some shorts and a T-shirt can do " picking up my toothbrush and putting toothpaste on it "can you make the shorts high waisted if you can" I ask and start brushing my teeth.
I closed the door and took a shower.
once I was out I got dressed, dried my hair grabbed what looks like a school bag and head to the dinning room.
everyone was sitting on their places.
I muttered a good morning to everyone and made my way to the kitchen.
in no way I'm gonna eat those fancy breakfasts everyday. I see Eve, Maria and the chef laughing at something while having their breakfast on a small table for four.
" may I?" I ask politely.
"sure thing sweety" Maria says and I sit in front of Eve.
"Steven this is Alex Luke's future bride and Alex this is Steven the head cook who has been here for as long as I have. " she says.
" hi its a pleasure to meet you" I say politely. Then I look up as I smell chocolate muffins but I can't find them.
I follow the aroma deep into the kitchen. And I get to a dead end. I turn around and see all three of them staring at me like I have 7 heads.
when I turn to the left I see a basket full of chocolate muffins.
I happily grab three and place two in my bag.
I go back and seat back in front of Eve.
" I like her already. she is the only one from the royals that actually ate my muffins." Steven says with disbelief.
I chuckle " these are really good. " I say
" ya. and from the way you're eating you can Finnish the whole basket." she says laughing at me along with Steven and Maria.
" OK are you going with Luke or me" Eve asks acting serious all of a sudden.
" obviously its with you" I say " I won't go anywhere with that animal that treats people the they aren't supposed to be treated." I sa my anger taking over.
I may not know him but I need to make people believe that I hate him so the Queen could stop the arranged marriage.
yep that's my plan and I don't care if people think I'm a bad person and I judge hard.
" You know that's a bit harsh coming from you" a voice says. I turn around to see Luke standing on the door holding a bag.
I glare at him and turn to Eve to say " can we go please" she nods and picks her bag, purple and black beanie and her keys.
she says bye to everyone and heads out. I do the same and go out shoving Lukas on my way.
I get into Eve's truck which is kinda old. Only 7 minutes and we arrive where I think Kingston high.
three tall buildings are the first thing anyone can notice and beneath them are small 5 story buildings
and in front of me I see lots of kids my age chatting some of them leaning on their cars and some standing scattered around.
this is going to be a long year I thought to my self like I usually do.
