It's been two weeks since Alexis came into my life, and surprisingly, everything we do together is our routine now. Pretty funny right? Most of the days, I would cook breakfast for us. On the other days, we'd go out and buy food. Then we'd ride in my car and head to school. We even as far as eating lunch together. Crazy eh?

I hear the door slam shut. "What's on the menu today?" Alexis said. She literally sounds like she is still asleep. I think if I said anything at this point, she'd reply and just go along with it. I put my theory to the test.

"Fried dung beetles," I said with a smirk on my face.

She mumbled a reply as she took out a carton of milk and poured her a glass.

"So, when did you sleep last night?" I asked. Normally, she's the morning person, whereas I'm not. Look at how the tables turned.

"4:20." She said.

I was surprised. She always slept early or at least holed herself up in her room before midnight.

"What the hell were you doing? Throwing a party in there? Or were you blazing it? After all, you did sleep at 420."

"You should know me better, I don't do drugs. Not anymore." She said. This girl fascinated me. Not everyone can quit drugs. What was her motivation?

I glance at the clock. "I didn't cook today so, where would you like to go for breakfast, Your Highness?"

A moment passed before she replied. "I want cheese."

"Cheese?"

"Yes, that dairy product, cheese."

"..Cheese?"

"Yes, C H E E S E. I even spelled it out for you. Happy?"

"Cheese...." She sighed and grabbed my car keys off the table.

"Let's go to...."

"To?" By this point, I was smiling already. Cheese at 6:50 in the morning? This girl is definitely something.

"...Cheeseland!" She said. Obviously making that up on the spot.

I chuckled. Sleepy and tired Alexis is my favorite so far.

"How about we go to McDonald's?" I asked. I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as 'Cheeseland'.

"Taco bell." She said lingering at the door of my place.

I sighed. "Fine, you should be thankful that we have a nearby McDonald's that is opened for 24 hours.

"Yay! Taco Bell!"

I smiled and locked the door to my apartment. "I know right! McDonald's!"

Once we got into my car, I noticed that she was starting to wake up. Once she finds out that we're not going to the beloved Taco Bell, she's going to kill me.

Alexis rubbed her eyes. "Is it just me, or did I say I wanted to go to Taco Bell."

"Yeppers, we are going to Taco Bell."

"Liam," She said, in a serious tone. Such a dramatic change in moods.

"Alexis," I replied.

"You do know that Taco Bell isn't opened yet right?"

I turned to look at her and smiled. "I know."

"Why the fűck are we going to a store that isn't opened?" She said. As if I was the idiot here.

"Well, Princess. If you think harder, I said we were going to McDonald's. You kept thinking it was Taco Bell."

Her mouth gaped opened as she stared at me. Then she put a finger in the air, and a moment later, she set it back down.
