♛Liam Slade♛
The first thing I feel when I wake up is my pounding headache. I groan and roll around in my bed.
"Look's like you're finally awake." A voice screams to my left. God, why are they screaming?
I open my eyes and see Jacob sitting in the corner with his phone.
"What time is it?" I asked, still tired from sleep.
"It's time for you to get your fücking äss out of bed. Alexis is gone."
Suddenly, everything that happened last night came crashing down upon me.
"No, no, no," I mumbled to myself. Not possible.
"You're the cause of her disappearance aren't you."
"Yes," I said, hanging my head down in shame. What got over me.
I hear a sigh. "Liam, what did you do this time."
I sit on the bed as I tell Jacob what happened. When I get to the part about what I said to her, I find myself feeling stupid.
Jacob walks over to me and punches me in the chest.
"Ow!" I exclaimed. I guess I deserved that.
"You're retarded you know? I never liked Rachel. The simple fact that she didn't genuinely like you. But Alexis is a totally different case. Yeah, she's got problems. So do you. You're stupid to even think about that bïtch right now. That girl clearly likes you. Yet you push her away every single god damn time."
My chest tightens. "Alexis likes me?" No way, why would a girl like her, like a broken guy like me?
"Yes, you goof ball. And I swear to God, if you don't find her, you're going to lose her."
"Where the hell am I suppose to find her?" I slam my fists onto the bed. "She can be anywhere!"
Jacob picks up the notepad beside my bed and a pen. He scribbles something down and throws it to me. "Check there."
I stare at the piece of paper, holding an address.
"How do you know that she'll be there?" I asked. Since when were those two so close?
"We talked. And she mentioned that place to me before." He shrugged it off as if it was nothing. "Anyways, what are you waiting for? Go!"
I quickly type in the address into my phone as I walk towards my car. According to my phone, it's in the middle of a forest. Why the hell would she be there? I shake my head. It doesn't matter, as long as she is there. Is it really that obvious, so obvious that even Jacob can see that I liked Alexis?
I realize that my car can only take me so far. I would have to walk the rest of the way. By the time I find a spot to park my car, my phone tells me that it's a ten-minute walk. Thank the lord, and hopefully, I won't get lost.

I walked and walked. Eventually, I was met with a clearing. As I took a closer look, I noticed that it was a train track. Why would a train track, not be shown on the maps?
In the far distance, I see a blonde figure. Is it really her?
"Alexis!" I shouted. The person jerks their head towards me.
"L-Liam?" She said, stuttering.
I walk towards her until I'm beside her. "Can I sit?"
She nods. "How'd you find me?"
"Jacob." In my peripheral vision, I see her nod.
"Why are you here?" That question caught me off guard. Why am I here?
"To apologize."
"For what? There's nothing you need to apologize for."
"Are you sure about that?"
"It's normal to be still hung over your ex." She said, quietly, looking away.
"I'm not hung over her, though. I wouldn't be here if I was."
"And why is that?" She turns her head towards me. Staring intently, waiting for my answer.
"I came here to apologize, and do this." And with that, I reached over and kissed her.
⚜ Alexis Fray⚜
I'm hurt and broken, but all that disappears when he kisses me. Instead, I see fireworks.
I was stunned at first. Then realization started to dawn on me. Liam Slade was kissing me. And I was kissing him back. Oh crap. Fück it. I forgot about all the problems and pain I was bearing, and just lost myself into him.
It seemed like we kissed for eternity, until we finally had to pull back to breathe. Our foreheads are against each other, and the only sound is our panting.
"Alexis..."
"Liam..."
"You go first."
"You go first."
"I think I like you." We said in unison. Wait, what? Liam likes me. I feel my cheeks turning a dark shade of red.
I hear Liam take a deep breathe. "Listen, I don't know what got over me last night. I guess it's just that I thought that she was the one. Then you came into my life, and showed me a whole new different way of living. I guess, I was too scared to admit my feelings, as a result, I kept saying, and acting stupidly. Today, Jacob made me realize how I truly felt, and I guess the fact of you leaving scared the shít out of me."
I was silent as he spoke. Is this a dream? I gesture between us. "What does this make us then?"
"Alexis Fray, will you be my girlfriend, for real this time?"
"Yes!" I exclaimed. He laced our fingers together.
"Have you been here since last night?" Liam asked. I could hear his voice laced with concern.
"Yeah. I have."
"Can I ask why you've come here, out of all places?"
I took a deep breathe. Can I tell him? I didn't even tell much to Jacob. "A lot have happened to me in the past. My dad never loved me. All he did was use me and my mom. When my mom found out, she couldn't take it, and she left me. I was a little girl, and she left me alone. With no one. She was my mom. That might, I left my house, and started to wander the streets. I ended up here. And it's always been the place I go for comfort."
I look up and see Liam's face. It was full of rage. And I could feel him squeezing my hand. "You're dad is an asshole, and you're mother is a coward."
I feel tears rolling down my cheeks. "Alexis, don't cry, I'm here now." I smiled at him.
"Some scars will never heal. And I have many more that came from other dark parts of my life. However, those stories can be told later."
He holds me to his chest and strokes my hair.
"Don't cry, that's the past. And the past is not worth your tears."
We sat there for a long time, just comforting each other.
