Code Lyoko: Finding Answers

~Chapter 1~

<Earth>

"What do you mean SHE'S GONE?" Odd jumped up from the floor in disbelief and shock.

Aelita furrowed her eyebrows. She tried to think of a reply but she can't figure out the absurdity of what just happened.

Odd couldn't take Aelita's silence any longer and tried to dash down to the scanner room but Ulrich stopped him before Odd could take another step.

"Move." Odd ordered in a threatening tone.

Ulrich rolled his eyes at Odd's recklessness which always never leads to good consequences. "Odd you need to calm down. Going down there to the scanners won't solve Jenny's disappearance."

Odd tried pushing Ulrich away but Ulrich is extremely stable and so he can't fall or move back easily. He was still able to block Odd from going down.

"Odd," Ulrich said as Odd tries to push him again "Jeremy can't virtualise you anyway and who knows what might happen if you went down there? What if X.A.N.A forcefully brings you down to Lyoko, what then?"

Yumi cut in as well as she couldn't take Odd's stupidity any longer. "Odd what if you got kidnapped as well? Then there's no point right? Do you remember what we found out just now?"

Yumi's question echoed throughout Odd's mind as he slowly stopped pushing Ulrich. His hands dropped down in despair as he sunk down to the floor.

The incident that Yumi was talking about played in his mind. While Aelita and Jenny were trapped in Lyoko, the three of them (Jeremy, Yumi and Ulrich) witnessed X.A.N.A's ability to somehow control the activities in Lyoko.

Aelita, clearly confused and curious about what Yumi was implying, looked at Jeremy for an explanation.

Jeremy pushed up his spectacles and typed a few things on his keyboard. Aelita walked and stood behind Jeremy to look at his screen.

Some codes surfaced, videos of new mobs and new sectors appearing were shown on the screen.

Aelita's face was drowned in worry after she finished looking through everything that Jeremy showed her.

"No." She said, shock hanging heavily on each letter.

"X.A.N.A can virtualise people into Lyoko manually but she needs the scanner -- unless it's Jenny as we all know, she's a special case. But X.A.N.A can also create completely new sectors and monsters which, from all this coding, are even more stronger than before." Jeremy leaned back into his chair to give Aelita a moment to absorb everything she just learnt.

"And here I thought X.A.N.A couldn't control Lyoko." Odd grumbled.

Jeremy grunted and said, "That was before X.AN.A captured Jenny. Now Jenny's there, X.A.N.A can do almost anything."

The whole room fell silent at Jeremy's chilling words. Everyone was worried and scared for what's about to come.

They all want to save Jenny but are they willing to risk it?

<Lyoko>

A piercing beeping noise jolted Jenny (Wilhelmina) awake. She slowly sat up from the bottomless ground and soon realised she was in a foreign place.

"Hello?" Her voice echoed thoughout the endless room.

At first, she was beginning to lose hope of expecting any reply but she quickly became hopeful when a purple screen appeared in front of her.

A little scared, she asked, "Who am I talking to? Is it, X.A.N.A?"

The screen stayed blank for awhile and this brief pause planted tension on her skin as she waited in bated breath for the screen to show a response.

"Yes."

Jenny's eyes widened as the words flashed across the screen. She thought for a moment before asking, "Why am I here?"

The purple screen deleted its' first reply and words started appearing on the screen.

"You're here to see the truth. You need to see what really happened that day - the day when you came into Lyoko."

Jenny blinked a few times as an attempt to compose herself. She could feel that her heart rate was rapidly increasing at the thought of uncovering the truth about who she was and why she was here.

"Are you ready?" A question popped up on the screen.

Her body posture straightened as if to ready herself for what's to come.

She took a deep breath, "Yes. I'm ready."

How long was this due? I'm seriously sorry for being so ridiculously late but I'M BACK!

I'm really pumped for this new book and also very excited to show you all the new ideas I have. Of course, my writing has changed but my skills still are lacking so do comment any mistakes you see and I'll change them immediately.
