It was almost 4am and it had just started to thunder and lightening outside. Kacy laid asleep peacefully until the baby monitor beside him went off and Keegan's loud cries came through.

Not even a few seconds later, Moeshas soft knocks came at the door. She slowly pushed the door opened "Kacy, you up?"

"Yea" he mumbled as he sat up "The storm scaring you?"

She nodded as she rubbed her eyes "And the baby"

"Get up here and I'll be back"

Kacy threw the covers over Moeshas lap and went to grab Keegan, who was still crying in his crib. When he saw Kacy, the cries slowly started to stop and they did completely when Kacy grabbed him and rocked him slowly.

Walking back into his room, he gently laid Keegan down in the middle of the bed. "Be careful now, ok? You don't wanna crush him"

"Ok"

Kacy closed his eyes and started to let the rain calm him down, letting it soothe him and fall back to sleep. Until he remembered something.

He grabbed his phone and dialed Karmas number, knowing she'd be awake. She answered on the second ring. "Kacy" she mumbled.

"Calm down Karma, it just rain" he said, like he did so many other times before. But this time, he couldn't hold her like he used to. He couldn't kiss her to relax her, he couldn't do any of that.

"Yea and it's thunder and lightening. All that's bad and scary" she whined. "Wait. Why you up this late?"

"Keegan started crying and Moe was at the door"

"Awe, he doesn't look like me but he acts like me"

Kacy laughed a little "Moe too. She gets that from you"

The night went on and the storm did too. It went on for almost an hour and when it stopped, that's when Kacy and Karma got off the phone.

Kacy, however, had to wake up just three hours later to take Moe to school. With Keegan all dressed and buckled in his car seat, and Moe in the front seat buckled up, Kacy drove to her school.

"Aye hold up, you leaving without my kiss? Damn Moe" Kacy shook his head and she smiled, leaning over to kiss his cheek. She went to the back and kissed Keegan before running off with her friends. "Looks like it's just me and you K. Daddy and son day"

Karma slowly sat up and tried to stand on her own before Kat or Ash came back from the kitchen. She hated being followed and being dependent on people for a long period of time.

Even against doctors orders, Karma slowly started to walk towards the bathroom. Each step she took, pain went through her body but it was only bearable because of the medicine she was on.

Once in the bathroom, she stopped. "Fuck" she mumbled. "Kat, Ash!" She called. She didn't want their help but she needed it right about now.

The girl walked into the bathroom "how'd you get in here?" Kat asked.

"She flew" Ash laughed "How the hell you think?"

"Anyway, you need help?"

Karma nodded and the girl helped her use the bathroom before getting her to the living room to sit on the couch and watch TV. On the coffee table was a bunch of snacks and drinks.

"What's all this? Y'all was bouta eat all my damn food?"

"No Karma" Ash laughed "We having movie night. Girls night"

Karma smiled "Awe, you guys. That's sweet. You didn't want me locked up in the room all day so you brought me to spend time with me"

"Not really" Kat mumbled. "we were gonna do this anyway. To be honest, we forgot about you until you called our names"
