"So you feeling a bit better? Not physically, mentally" the therapist spoke. He stared at Karma, smiling a little.

It was no lie, he thought Karma was extremely beautiful and would do anything to just take her on a date. But it'd been almost 2 weeks they've known each other and she still haven't given him a chance.

Because she's still technically married.

"Better." Karma smiled, genuinely. Not only has her and the kids gotten closer but the separation with her and Kacy has been better than she thought it'd be.

Occasionally, he'd call or FaceTime Karma. Sometimes it'd be to speak with her and others, it'd be to speak with Moe or Keegan.

Usually when he'd call, he'd go on and on about how good he felt. About how he felt better and different. For him, he really felt like he was getting somewhere.

With himself and with Karma.

Since he left, him and Karma have been talking more and more. At first, things were somewhat awkward but eventually, they started to get back to what they wanted.

Friends.

Dion and Karma have gotten back to their best friend times, like old times and things have finally seemed to get better for everyone.

"How are things with you and Kacy?"

Karma sighed "Why? I asked you not to mention him."

"Why not? He is your husband, right?"

"Yes, but that's my personal life and you don't have a right to ask about it unless I bring it up" she rolled her eyes.

The therapist threw his arms up and smirked "My bad, I'll stop" he stood up from stretching and reached out for Karmas hands. She allowed him to help her stand and she began to stretch herself out. "So I wanna test out something. Remember how you said it hurts for you to bend?"

Karma mugged him and he laughed.

"No funny business. "

"We'll see" Karma slowly bent over, afraid she'd feel pain. With the therapist by her side, one hand was placed on the middle of her back. He rubbed against her spin slowly while the other hand held her side with a firm grip.

"Feel any pain?"

"No"

"Try touching your toes"

Karma did just that and started to feel slight pain on the side the therapist was touching. "It's hurting" she mumbled.

He began to slowly rub the area with his two fingers, releasing any tension from that area. "How's that?"

"Better" Karma stood straight up.

"Where it was hurting. It's just tight. Regularly massage the area where it's painful and it should go away"

"Alright, thank you"

"That's all for today, Karma. You can leave. Drive safe"

Instead of driving to her apartment, Karma drove to Kats house. She received a text, letting her know something was wrong so she rushed over.

When she got there, Kat was in tears while Ash comforted her. Moe, Keegan and Baby Morgan were all by the TV. Either eating or playing with toys.

"Kat. What's wrong?'" Karma asked. She slowly rubbed her back and wiped her tears.

"She can't have kids, Karma" Ash said softly "Her and Dion went to the doctors today." My

"I'm so sorry" Karma hugged her." And I know how bad you wanted kids" then it dawned on Karma "How'd Dion take it?"
