Evalyn Elena's twin

chapter 1

A/n :Ok so I have tried to write this story several different ways but for some reason I can never really get it right so this time I'm going to stick to the basic outline of the vampire diaries series and see how it goes the first few chapters will probably be pretty close to the series I own absolutely nothing except for Evalyn picture of her on the side

Chapter 1

'Dear diary,

Today will be different it has to be we will smile and it will be believable our smiles will say we're fine, thank you, yes we feels much better we can no longer be the sad little girls that lost their parents we will start fresh be someone new that's the only way we'll make it threw'

I wrote then got a nagging feeling that Elena wrote something similar in her diary as well it's been four months yet I still can't look at Aunt Jenna without seeing mom we're 16 and identical twins half the time it feels like we are on the same wavelength and the other half its like she's on another planet our friends don't really run in the same circles lately I feel like I'm Jeremy's twin instead of hers he's our little brother he's 15 and since the accident he's fallen into a stoner faze which I have no problem joining him in if only Elena wasn't so motherly we are both about 5'6 tan skin with brown hair and eyes Jeremy is about 5'10 with paler skin but also with dark hair and eyes.

I get dressed in a dark blue t-shirt jeans and tennis before rushing down stairs

"Toast I can make toast" Aunt Jenna says franticly moving around the kitchen

"It's all about the coffee Aunt Jenna" Elena says pouring herself a cup after I was already drinking mine

"Is there coffee?" Jeremy asks walking in and stealing my cup making me pout and Elena pass me her own before she grabs another

"It's your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared" Jenna says digging threw her stuff before finding cash and holding it out to us

"Lunch money?" she asks

"I'm ok" Elena responds and Jeremy grabs the $30 and puts it in his pocket

"Hey" I say whacking the back of his head and he hands me 15 which I stuff in my pocket

"Anything else a number 2 pencil what am I missing?" she asks

"Don't you have a presentation today?" Elena asks

"I'm meeting with my thesis adviser at now crap" she answers and starts pulling her hair down and grabbing her stuff but looking at us worried still

"Go we'll be fine" Elena says while Jeremy and I roll our eyes as soon as the door slams Elena turns to us

"Are you ok" she asks us with her worried face

"Don't start" Jeremy say and she turns to me

"I'll look out for him" I say and she nods seeming worried as I leave with Jeremy to walk to school her best friend Bonnie is picking her up she offered to drive me as well but Bonnie and I don't really mix well we've hated each other since we were in diapers our mothers were best friends I honestly think she's an evil witch trying to ruin my life she thinks I'm a witch casting spells so people like me but whatever while me and Jeremy were walking this huge crow was watching me to the point where it seems human

"Whoa that things huge" Jeremy says when he sees it and I nod not able to take my eyes away when I walk into the school I see Matt has a locker next to mine he and Elena broke up after the accident he was the reason she needed to be picked up he seemed depressed which was not good for either of us and to top it all off Elena tries to wave at him like she didn't crush the kids heart I just glare at her and turn to leave but the nut case of a blonde comes running and hugs me
