"I have never loved you Mark. I have always loved Tom more. I don't care about you. I have never cared about you. The best part of being dead is never seeing you again."

"NANA!" Mark yelled in his sleep, waking up Jack.

"Mark?" Jack said, sitting up in the grass.

"N-Nana!"

Jack shook Mark awake. "It's ok,"

"Where are we?" Mark asked.

"At the park," Jack answered.

"Oh," Mark said. "Is she really gone?"

Jack didn't answer, instead, he hugged Mark. Mark hugged him back, weakly. Then, he started to cry.  Mark pulled away. Jack let him and he held his hand.

"Hey," Jack said.  "It's going to be alright,"

"Yeah...Ok," Mark said. "Hey, Jack?"

"Yeah?"

"Listen, I know we haven't known each other that long, but I was wondering, if possibly, I could," His voice trailed off.

"Yeah?" Said Jack, genuinely curious.

"Can I...move...in with you? I mean it would just be for a week or so and you don't have to. It would just be hard going back there after Nan-"

That was when, without even thinking, without even knowing if he was or even if Mark was, Jack kissed him. And when Mark kissed him back, he didn't know either, if he was, or if Jack was. It just kinda happened. They both pulled back at the same time.

"Um..." Jack said shyly.

"Yeah..." Mark replied.

"I'd better get home," Jack said. "My Step-mom is probably worried sick about me. Yours are probably too,"

"Yeah. I can give you a ride if you want..."

"Yeah, ok. And, if you still want to, the answer to your question is yes..."

"Ok..."

They both got into the car. Aside from Jack giving Mark directions to his house, there was really no conversation. It was just...awkward silence.

"This is it," Jack said.

"Ok...I'll talk to you later, I guess." Mark said, fidgeting with his hands.

"Yeah, ok," Jack said as he walked into the house.

He was not yet old enough to live on his own (though his step-mother often had to go on trips for work), so he wasn't surprised when she came running and hugged him.

"Jackie," she said softly. "Where the hell  have you been?! I got a call from your principal saying that you cut class?"

"Mom, I can explain," He said walking to a chair to sit down.

That was when Jack told her everything. About the call, Lola dying, but he decided not to mention the locket. It just didn't feel right. He felt unsure about telling her. Mainly because, usually, when she came home from business trips, she smelled oddly of weed. He even smelled it coming from her bag, not just her breath. He figured she might have gotten high when he didn't return from school, or in the morning. He could smell the weed on her breath. He also knew she kept a secret gun in her nightstand for emergencies. She thought Jack didn't know about it. He was afraid that she might have felt like he was trying to get rid of her and shoot the locket, or worse, him.

//YO,

WASSUP MY FLIBBITY PIBBITIES?

YEP, STILL GOING WITH IT.

I am truly sorry for not updating in like a month or two. And I'm sorry that this chapter is short.

A lot of personal things have happened to me and I won't go into full detail, but it really shook me up and created a gigantic  writer's block.

But anyway, all that stuff is finally  over, and I've had a few creative ideas. It might take me some time to get back into the swing of things, but I will. Thanks for (hopefully) understanding!

And also, I just found out, Mark has a girlfriend (possibly)!!! Jacksepticeye mentioned it in a RYC video! Her name is Amy, and please don't hate Mark for it! I swear I cried for like, an hour.

I WILL SEE ALL YOU DUDES IN THE NEXT CHAPTER!

BYE-BYE!!!//
