Alissia keeli is an average girl.  She is in the 10th grade.  She has brown hair and green eyes.  Not the special,  pretty green eyes,  just the dull washed out green. But for her hair,  it was long. Its was so long they when she swam she looked like an orical off of a movie. Her skin was a powder white,  and she looked frail

Well I can tell you she is not frail.  She is not average.  She is so extraordinary. She is amazing at giving advice.  You wouldn't believe how amazing.  She is always there for a friend. She is a straight a student.  Her only flaw is her curiosity.  People call her cat,  well because you know,  curiosity killed the cat.

Anyway,  Alissia has always loved abandoned things. She has loved to climb to the top of abandoned roller coasters.  Or go into abandoned houses.  She loved to take pictures.  And most of all she loved the feeling of being completely alone.  She loved to see the history and imagine how it may have been abandoned.

*************

It was an average day.  She had found an abandoned house off the dirt road that went to a river.

Its shutters were hanging from its hinges. The door was crooked.  And the wood was splintering.  The paint was peeling off.  And most of the windows were missing.  She could see through one of the missing windows, and she saw a well furnished room.  Yes there were a few cobwebs here and there.

But it looked new.  Like someone had fixed it up just enough to live in it.  The furniture was old but she could tell someone had been there.  There was a tea cup on the table, and a wet tea bag to the side.

That's odd.  Oh well might as well scope it out.

She opened the front door, and to its rugged condition, it surprisingly opened quietly.

Everything was in perfect condition.  The mantel was dusted.  The furniture looked new.  And there was a rug. The floor looked freshly polished too. It was weird.

She turned to go back.  But just as did she saw a flash of light in the corner by the stairs.

Being the kind of person she was, she went to investigate. because I mean what hipster child wouldn't.

Just as she turned around the light intensified  to a blinding state.

Just as she pulled her hood over her head to run out of the door,  something grabbed her.

The feeling of sweaty palms with a bandage on one,  was all she felt as she was dragged farther into the house.  The light consuming her. she screamed out

"HELLLLP! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! MPHFFF"

"kid if you shut up and stop struggling it will make life easier"

This came from a smooth male voice. She felt oddly safe. But she struggled on her screams on muffled as the man had put something over her mouth.

************

She woke up slumped over. Her hands bound behind her.  She started to struggle as she saw nothing she recognized.

She was pulling on the ropes as had as possible. She could feel the blood dripping down her wrists.

"you know.  Its really no use struggling. Trust me."

At this Alissia was surprised.  She could have sworn she didn't see anyone.

"behind you. We are tied to a pole. I saw you being drug in here.  You looked pretty banged up."

Alissia went to say something snarky back to the girl bit couldn't. She leaned her head back and sighed deeply.

"I'm Dania by the way. I would ask your name but I doubt they trust you enough to take off the tape."

Dania stopped again. But this time it was to take a long shaky breath. She sounded sick. But then she let out a raspy laugh.

"I know what you're thinking. I'm sick. Yeah that's what you get when you're here for goodness knows how,"

She was cut off by a door opening.

"that's enough Dania. She can figure the rest out on her own. But for now I'm gonna need to take you back to Rick."

This voice was familiar and accompanied by a bright light. It was the man from before. Only Alissia still couldn't see him.

She banged her head against the pole in frustration.  And that sparked something inside the man's tone of voice.

"hey now.  Don't do that. They still need you in perfect condition for the light to work OK."

At this Alissia was very confused but just as she went to turn her neck to see the man, the door closed and she heard a sound of some leaking.  Then she saw a purple gas or vapor.

Then she slipped into a fitful cough that soon turned into a deep sleep.  And the man walked away from the door as he saw Alissia's head slump forward.  He flicked the off switch and walked down the hallway with Dania in hand.
