Chapter 9

--- Chapter 9 ---

~~ Adeline POV ~~

The guys went home after a while and Lexee and I went upstairs to my room to sleep. We all know that at girls sleepovers you have to gossip and talk about boys before you can actually sleep. So that's what we did.

After many hours of talking we fell asleep. Me on my bed and Lexee unconscious across the floor (she had a pillow and blanket, I don't hate her haha)

I woke up the next morning, my head still buzzing with thoughts of last night. Princeton and I were millimeters away from each other. I couldn't help but feel nervous about the fact that we were going to kiss. He is my favorite member of Mindless Behaviour, he is my idol. I've dreamed of meeting them before and the fact that they were actually there in my house and I was about to kiss Princeton... That shit is just crazy!

"You ok?" I look down to see Lexee, her face full of concern

"I'm fine, why do ya ask?"

"Bro... When you think hard about something you look constipated!"

We both look at each other and burst out laughing. I playfully hit her and we laugh again and got up. We go downstairs to the kitchen and decide we are going to make pancakes! We got all the ingredients out and made the batter.

Let's just say long story short, Lexee and I have no idea what we are doing when we make pancakes. There was batter all over the kitchen. Mum is going to kill me and Lexee (she is like her second daughter). We end up eating cereal for breakfast because there was no pancakes that were even close to edible, they were all to burnt or just a slop in the pan.

After eating a cereal we cleaned up from the pancakes mess and went upstairs to get changed. We decided we wanted to go to a the movies as we haven't gone in a while. I decided to wear high waisted shorts and a maroon T-shirt with my vans and maroon sunglasses. I did my make up lightly which just consisted of coverup, mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss. I then lightly curled my hair and put it up until neat ponytail.

I looked back into my room and saw Lexee sitting on my bed waiting for me she got up and I saw she was wearing the same highs waisted shorts as me but in black. She also had a purple shirt on that was tucked into her shorts, she did the same make up as me and her hair was straightened and out with her purple ray bans resting on the top of her head. She quickly grabbed her purple ballet flats and made her way out the door, I grabbed my purse ran out after her.

We decided we were too tired to walk to the shops so instead we just got my mum to drive us there. She dropped us off I front of the cinema and we jumped out of the car and walked in. We went straight to the ticket seller and got our tickets. We got a large popcorn to share and a bag of M&M's. We walked to the cinema and got our seats, we decided to turn off our phones now so I quickly sent a text to mum:

To Mum
From Adeline
'Hey mama, in the movie now. Turning off my phone, will text you when it's finished. Love you'

To Adeline
From Mum
'Ok Lin, have fun. I will drop Lexee back at her house on the way home as well.'

I turned off my phone as the lights dimmed meaning the start of the movie

*_*_* AFTER THE MOVIE *_*_*

That was such a good movie! It was a romance movie where the girl is at her friends party and she sees her crush kissing another girl. She runs outside and the guy sees her leaving and runs after her. He explains that the girl kissed him and he actually likes the her all along. Then they kiss and end up together... So cute but incredible soppy!

That kind of thing only happens in movies though, it would never happen in real life. I quickly turn on my phone to tell mum the movies finished but stop because I see a text from an unknown number. I swipe my finger across the screen and read the text:

To Adeline
From Unknown Number
'Hey beautiful. When you weren't looking I grabbed your phone and sent myself your number, hope you don't mind. I'd love to see you again soon. Oh and if you didn't know, this is Princeton from Mindless Behaviour. Hope to see you soon. :)'

Holy... Holy... OMG! Did he just text me to ask to see me again? And he called me beautiful... I HAVE to be dreaming this time! There is no way that just happened. I looked up to find Lexee in the same state of excitement and disbelief as me. We exchanged phones and it turns out that she got a text from Roc:

(On Lexee's phone)
To Lexee
From Roc
'Hey gorgeous, I was wondering if you were free tomorrow night, I wanted to see you. Text me later. X

I scrolled down to see she had already replied to him:

To Roc
From Lexee
'Hey Roc. I would love to do something tomorrow night. Pick me up from (address) at 7? X'

I was about to hand her phone back to her but it vibrated. I looked at the screen and it read:

To Lexee
From Roc
'Counting down the minutes babe! <3'

I know Lexee really well and I know that when she reads that he called her babe... She's going to freak! I handed her back her phone and she gave me mine. I quickly texted my mum to pick us up and then went back to the text from Princeton. I added his contact and went to reply... Turns out Lexee already did for me! What has she done?

I look up at her and see she is gone, I hear a sound coming from the floor. I look down to see Lexee smiling like an idiot while staring at her phone

"The babe thing?" I question her, she doesn't remove her eyes from her phone she just nods. Why am I friends with her?

A/N Hey, is it ok? Once again writers block is a bitch! I know this chapter is bad but it's a filler chapter.
