~~ Adeline's POV ~~

I'm just lying down on my bed staring up at the small swirl pattern that is spread across my ceiling. I hear muffled voices coming from downstairs. Sounds like Lexee is here!

I haven't seen her in ages, the last time I saw her was on my birthday. I couldn't help but smile at the memory of that day...


**FLASHBACK**

'Hey Gurrrlllll' screamed Lexee!

She ran over to me and pulled me into a big hug. She broke away from the hug and handed me a small envelope.

(Lexee - L, Adeline - A)

L- 'Happy Birthday Bro!'

A- 'you didn't have to get me anything!'

L- 'we both know you wanted something so stop being so polite and open it!

A- ' you know me way to well!'

L- 'I know, Now open it!'


I looked down to the envelope and started to peel away at the sealed rim. I reached inside to find a card, I took it out of the envelope and opened it. 2 smaller cards fell out and to the floor. I bent down and picked them up, putting them in my palm not looking at what they were yet, I decided to instead read the big card first. it said:

Dear Addy,

Happy Birthday Gorgeous Girl,
I didn't know what to get you and I knew you have been wanting this forever... It's gonna be a night to remember!

I looked at the 2 smaller cards. They looked like concert tickets, no they couldn't be...

I looked up to see Lexee with a huge grin on her face, before I got to excited I looked down to check. Yep, I was right, these tickets were the ones I had been wanting for a long time!

These tickets were not just tickets...

They were tickets to see MINDLESS BEHAVIOUR IN CONCERT! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh


I jumped onto Lexee and hugged her so tight, I'm surprised her eyes didn't pop out...


'THANK YOU SO MUCH LEXEE! I LOVE YOU!!!!'

"I love you to now please get off me so I can live to actually see the concert!" She chuckled and pretended she was couldn't breath.

I laughed at her and look back into my hands were the precious tickets were. I was holding the tickets so tightly. if anything happened to them that wouldn't allow me to go to the concert. I wouldn't know what to do with myself!

I looked at the tickets and saw the date was in 2 weeks! That means Lexee and I have some serious shopping to do!


**END OF FLASHBACK**


I was still thinking of my birthday when Lexee burst through my door causing me to snap out of my flashback.

L- 'rise and shine sleepy head! My mums waiting downstairs to take us to the mall, so hurry up'

She threw a pair of high waisted shorts and a tank top at me and ran back downstairs.

I got up and changed, i put my hair in a bun and slipped on my vans before running downstairs and screaming bye. I ran out the door and down the driveway to see Lexee on the car with her mum.

'LEGGO' I said jumping into the back seat.

They both giggled and we drove away.
