Ashton's pov
I can't believe Laura would cheat on me, and with my best friend. She meant the whole world to me, and now she broke my heart. I'm gonna have to go and talk to Luke about this.
I got into my car and started driving straight to Luke's house. Once I got there, I had to think about what should say to him. I just lost my girlfriend, and I am positive that I'm not about to loose another friend. I went up to the door to ring the bell, but the door was open. He must have been waiting for me.
"Luke?!" I shout out to him. "Ashton? Hold up I'm coming.." Luke said and then I heard his footsteps go down the stairs. "You have some explaining to do." I say to him as I cross my arms. "What are you talking about?" Luke says to me playing stupid.
"You too? Are you not gonna admit Laura is cheating on me with you?" I say to him slightly raising my voice. "What the hell are you talking about?" Luke asks me very confusedly. "You and Laura. I saw the pictures from today, and you called her beautiful!" I shout at him causing him to taken a step back.
"Oh my god..that's not what happened!" Luke shouts back at me. "Then what did?!" I shout at him louder then before.
"Jasmine had been bugging her to stalk Matt and Lucy because Alissa said that she thought they were cheating. Laura got caught and said some very sassy things to Lucy. Matt then pushed her and hit her. She came over to my house because she did want to fucking drive crying!" Luke says to me and I start to tear up. "No..you're joking right?" I ask him as the first few tears roll down my face.
I can't believe this. Of course I didn't let Laura explain. Between her fight with Jasmine and Matt...and me breaking up with her..she's probably broken..I should have just let her talk.
"No. I'm serious...have you talked to Laura since then?" Luke asks me causing me to feel guilty. "Yes..I kinda might have..over reacted.." I said to Luke while looking at the ground. "What did you do..?" Luke asks me trying to keep his cool. "I broke up with her." I say to him and he starts sobbing. "YOU DID WHAT?! ASHTON SHE IS FRAGILE! SHE LOST HER BEST FRIEND, GOT BEATED UP, AND BROKEN UP WITH? DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?!" Luke shouts at me causing me to break down.
"Understand what?" I say to him as I sob. "Hey..come here.." Luke says to me causing me to run into his arms. "What if she did something Luke? It would be all my fault oh my god" I say to Luke while sobbing even harder. "No it wouldn't Ashy. It would be the two girls who started the whole thing. Lucy and Alissa." Luke says to me causing me to freeze. "Wait Alissa like the girl I broke up with?" I say to Luke and start to panic. "Yeah.. What's going on Ashton?" Luke says me very concernedly. "I can't believe this! I trusted her, and she did this!" I shout into Luke's chest. "Oh Ashy....just breathe..everything will be okay." Luke says trying to reassure me. "I'm gonna text Laura just to let her know I'm sorry." I say to Luke and he just nods his head.
Ashton ❤️: i'm so sorry omg I should have let you explain. I know i over reacted but could you ever forgive me? I love you so much.
(Laura's phone looks to be disconnected. Once she reconnects it we will notify her that you texted)
"Oh no.." I say staring to cry again. "What's wrong Ashton?" Luke asks me as he hugs me tighter. "Laura's phone is disconnected.." I say and start to sob again until Luke's phone starts to ring.
Luke's pov
"Hello is this Luke?" Cameron asks me through the phone. "Yes this is him, what's going on?" I ask him hoping it has nothing to do with Laura. "Laura ran away..she wrote a letter..we think she's going to commit suicide.." Cameron says which causes me to start balling again. "You better be fucking kidding me.." I say to him causing Ashton to stare at me nervously. "We're out on the look for her. You and Ashton can come help us too. Ashton probably knows some places that Laura liked to go to, have him guide you." Cameron says while crying. "Okay we will thank you for telling us." I say to him.
"What's going on?" Ashton asks me concerned it was about Laura. "Laura ran away..they think she's going to attempt suicide..where do you think she'd go?" I ask him and I could see his heart shatter. "NO NO NO! WHY WOULD SHE DO THIS?!" Ashton shouts and starts to sob again. "Hey hey..breath we need your help. Where do you think Laura is?" I asked him calmly. "I don't know..wait where are the guys checking?" Ashton asks me. "Cameron and Nash are checking in the woods, and jasmine and Matt are checking the town." I say to him confused on why he's even asking. "Okay well then.. Let's go check her hotel! What if she actually never left?" Ashton says to me as He stands up. "Good idea!" I say to him and we leave the house.
"Do you think we'll find her?" Ashton asked me while still crying. I then just replied with two simple words. "I hope."
