Chapter 3

Daisake knocked on the door. "Hey kid! It's alright, the bad guys aren't gonna bother you anymore. "

"Are...are they dead?" A strained and fearful voice came from the other side of the door.

Daisake reigned in his anger. For a child to be so frightened that they wish death on someone? Unforgivable. Next person who tries this...dies....brutally. "No Naruto. But they're in enough pain that they'll think twice before doing this shit again."

The door opened and a small boy peeked from just below the door knob. "Jiji said that was a bad word, you'll get in trouble if he hears you saying that."

The boy had ruffled blonde hair and large blue eyes. His cheeks had small whisker marks, he had fair complexion and a good demeanor.

He opened the door all the way, but blocked the path. "What do you want mister?"

Daisake knelt to eye level. "How would you like to know your destiny, Naruto?"

"Destiny?" Naruto asked curiously.

Daisake nodded. "I can't tell you everything, for fear you could accidently change the way you end up...but I can tell you a few things, and even help you learn to fight. Do you have a dream?"

Naruto nodded. "I'm gonna be hokage like the fourth!"

That made Daisake grin, knowing Naruto ended up as the seventh Hokage. "I'm can help you with that. I'm a powerful warrior in my own right. Besides, even without my help you'll become strong. I can see the future."

"Really? Do I become Hokage? Do I marry Sakura-chan?" Naruto beamed in anticipation.

The white haired man paused. "You don't marry anyone named Sakura, but the woman you end up marrying is very pretty. I can't tell you whether or not you become hokage because if I told you no it'd stop you from reaching for your full potential and if I said yes...you'd grow up expecting it and never get it. That's one you'll have to figure out on your own."

"...alright....can you tell me who my parents are?" The blonde looked at Daisake hopefully.

Daisake sighed. "Maybe. Seeing the past is harder than seeing the future and I'll have to use you as the catalyst. Bump fists with me and I'll sync our chakra."

Naruto did and Daisake's eyes widened. "Holy hell...a kid with so much chakra...guess I shouldn't be surprised given the level of power you have as an adult..."

Daisake closed his eyes and forced his third 'eye' open.

He could see a blonde man and woman leaning over him with tears in their eyes and a giant claw protruding from their abdomens.

"Naruto...I...don't be b-be picky... eat all y-your vegetables... my make friends...not a lot but...only a few that you can really trust..." Daisake's vision blurred slightly, it took him a moment to realize the scene before him actually had him in tears. "T-Train hard....in your ninjutsu...remember you can't be good at even eve-everything...and that e-everyone has weaknesses... I need to tell you at about the...the three prohibitions of ninja... be careful lending and bo-borr owing money.... the second prohibition of ninja is women..."She let out a shaky laugh. "I'm a woman so I don't know much as a-about this one....ju...just try to find a girl just like me, ya know? Also if you...ever meet Jiraiya-sensei, didn't listen to anything he says... I'm sorry Minato...I... I used up all your time too." She whispered sadly, tears freely flowing from he eyes.

Minato smiled. "It's alright, my love...Naruto, my son...I guess, just listen to your nagging mother...she's said everything that needs to be said...we love you son... eight trigrams seal."

Daisake closed his eyes, when he looked up he saw Naruto staring at him expectantly. "Naruto. I don't know your mother, but she was beautiful and strong and she had vibrant red hair... your dad though...I know him. I saw him fighting when I was a bit younger than you, he was the reason I became a ninja. He was Minato Namikaze, fourth hokage..."

Naruto glared. "You're lying. You have to be, no way would a father ever do this to his son..."

"I'm sorry kid...my psychic powers don't make mistakes."Daisake looked down in sadness, only for Naruto to hug him.

Naruto was crying. "I finally know who my dad was....I know him....my mom...I need to know my mom...why is my name Uzumaki instead of Namikaze?"

"Don't know. But I know who should...your current hokage."
