Daisake set Haku down. The area around them was no longer the snowy city they'd been on but a sunny place, a forest to their backs and a city with a wall and tall gate in front of them.

Haku doubled over queezy. "I'm gonna be sick...."

"Heh, you'll get used to it. If I'm not mistaken we're in Konoha. A trip that'd take a four day walk, took me thirty seconds with a passenger!" Daisake said proudly.

"Is that why your hair is blown back?" Haku asked curiously, making Daisake deflate slightly.

Then he grinned in a way he believed made him irresistible. "Actually my hair stays this way, because of my unnatural good looks."

Haku tilted his head. "You're very narcissistic, aren't you?"

Daisake chuckled. "Nah I'm just having a bit of fun."

They began walking through town, finding several shops. "This place is different from your old village. I haven't been here in almost seven years but these people love bloodline limits and-"

His vision showed a small blonde boy landing in front of them being chased by several villagers at night in snot her part of town. He was crying and scared, his shirt in tatters and blood seeped from his nose and lip. A bruise marked his left eye, he had several cuts and bruises. Then his future self stalked towards the villagers.

Daisake blinked. "Shit... come on kid, we need to find someone fast." They began walking quickly looking for the young hero.

"Hey sir, I'm terrible with directions. Mind telling me where I can find Naruto Uzumaki?" Daisake asked a man standing in front of a noodle stand.

The man glared at him. "You leave that boy alone, he doesn't deserve the way you all treat him."

"Sorry sir you're mistaking me for something I'm not. I'm here to meet the boy that grows to be the seventh hokage." Daisake stuck a thumb up.

The old man coughed. "That kids not even old enough for the academy, let alone be hokage."

"You might be misheard, I said he will grow to be the seventh hokage. You see I possess a bloodline limit that gives me the ability to see the future, as well as any changes that my interference provides. I was mentally assaulted by visions of this boy at random points of his life, I've never had so many visions of a single person before." Daisake sighed. "Still don't believe me, eh? Alright look. The kid is going to be attacked by a group of villagers tonight. I saw myself stopping them from causing serious harm but I'd rather avoid the pain he no doubt will feel tonight by finding him early."

The old man sighed. "It's that time of year... Every year the attacks grow more frequent and more violent in October, particularly during the kyuubi festival. I'll take you to his apartment if you swear....swear to me that no harm will befall the boy."

"You care about him a great deal." Daisake noted.

The elderly man wiped his eyes. "It's have adopted him long ago if not for the council... I'm Teuchi by the way."

"Daisake. Let's go, I don't know exactly when the attack starts."

The group made their way to Naruto's apartment, only to find three men trying to open Naruto's door. "Teuchi. Take Haku and circle the block. I'll take care of these people."

The elderly man squeezed Daisake's shoulder. "Don't do anything you'll regret, you're still young..."

"I won't regret a single thing I'm about to do." Daisake began walking forward slowly, as Teuchi pulled Haku away.

Daisake tapped one on the shoulder and as soon as he turned to see who'd dare interrupt them, Daisake punched his cheek with enough force to Crack the man's jaw and drop him. Daisake grabbed the next two and hurled them down the hall.

One of them rolled to his feet quickly, obviously having some form of ninja training. Before he could react, Daisake planted his foot into the man's chest. The force cracked several ribs and dislocated the bones in his arms.

The third man stood angrily. "The hell are you doing here? We are gonna rid the world of a demon today."

Daisake's eyes narrowed. "I really don't like that word."

Then Daisake punched his gut, sending him to his knees. Then delivered a vicious right hook to his cheek, knocking several teeth loose and making blood pour from his mouth.

Daisake looked at them, contemplating killing them. Then he remembered the boy behind the door and sighed. "Not today..."

He picked them up and put them in a hall closet. Then walked over to the door and knocked, excited to see the boy he knew would grow to be a hero.
