I walked up the last few steps into the old observatory, putting my windblown hair into a ponytail. Pushing open the door I looked around of any sign of the black haired boy I was to be meeting. Looking around in amazement though I had seen the sight numerous times, I smiled. I walked over to the red bucket that would take me to where I was sure to find the boy I was looking for.
Once at the top I hopped on to the platform and walked towards the emo boy in front of me. He was looking through the telescope at the night sky. I looked up too, the sight was beautiful. The whole sky was filled with stars.
I walked up as quietly as I could behind him and leaned foward and whispered in to his ear. "Jojo." He jumped surprised and banged his head on the telescope. I laughed as he rubbed his head.
"Alissa!" he hissed. I smiled, amused and poked his cheek. "Yes?" I asked innocently. He rolled his eyes.
"Your a pain. You know that right?" This remark made me laugh. "Aw... So you don;t love me anymore?" I said playfull faking hurt.
''I never loved you." He replied dramaticly. "What ever Loser. I'm amazing everyone loves me." He rolled his eyes again.
"I walked by your house and your mom saw me. She wanted me to tell you not to stay out late like last time." I said remembering my meeting with his mom.
"Yeah, yeah yeah. Okay. So want to go for a walk? I'm bored..." He asked hopefully.
"Sure why not. We can enjoy the last few moments of non-christmas season. I hate christmas here in Whoville." I agreed.
"As do I. The way everyone gets so competitive and obssessed. It's pretty annoying." We walked to the red bucket.
"Ladies first." He said cheekily. I rolled my eyes and got on. I went zooming to the bottom. I stepped out and sent it back up.
"My dad already wants Hunter and I to help himj put up decorations tomorrow. Hunter I know is going to find some way to get out of it, like he does every year. Apparently Whoball practice is way more important than christmas decorations. Lucky." I ranted when he reached the bottom.
"I'll help you if you want." He offered almost shyly. I raised an eyebrow both at his shyness and at his offer.
"Really? Thanks. My dad and Mr. HanaWho always go all out. There so competitive." I complained as we exited the observatory.
He grinned at me and we began our trek down the hill..
Once at the bottom we walked through out the town. Past the Whobakery, past the small stores all named with Who in front, until we made it to main street.
"Alissa, wanna go inside and make fun of random people?" Jojo offered, poiting towards the diner. I nodded. "Sure. Sounds fun."
We entered the diner and ordered Chocolate Whoshakes and an order of Whofries. I hate how everything is who this and who that. Gah.
