Chapter Nine

Back at the Novak house, Gabriel was being led down the stairs in hand cuffs,

"Woah woah woah." Raphael and Gabriel turned to see Lucifer, his hair wet and a towel in his hands,

"Where do you think you are taking my brother?"

Raphael let go of the chain that binded the teen and stepped forward towards Lucifer,

"Sir, he was seen skipping school, once again, and leaving school property without an excuse."

Lucifer adjusted his jogging pants and t-shirt as he mulled over what the officer had said,

"So the school didn't get my call?"

"What call?"

Lucifer put his hands on his hips,

"The call to tell them I would be retrieving my son and his friend because his cousin was coming into this world. Hence, Why I was taking a shower."

Raphael sighed, "Sir no one told me-"

Lucifer tilted his head, "And then you come into MY home uninvited and search MY home with out permission nor a warrant."

The blonde man stepped forward, straightening his head up,

"I don't think you have the proper authority to be taking my brother. So, uncuff him and.leave before I call the actual police and have you arrested for trespassing and harassing."

Lucifer cut his eyes at the cop and gritted his teeth, "Now uncuff my brother and get off my property."

Raphael nodded and uncuffed the teen,

"I'm so sorry about the mix up.."

Lucifer pointed to the door,

"Just go!"

Raphael nodded and practically ran out of the door, slamming it behind him.

Lucifer pinched the bridge of his nose,

"You're poor aunt Mary, what is she going to think when she hears about how we used her pregnacy as an excuse."

Gabriel chuckled and hugged his brother,

"Thanks for saving me big bro."

"Just go and reassure your moose before I throw you through a wall."

Gabriel mocked saluted Lucifer, "Yes ma'am." And with that, he ran off to go see his moose.
