For how many years will you plan
a future contingent on the past?
There will come a time when desire
will heat your lukewarm blood,
and freedom will be more
than the future's what-if.
At that moment, when you know
what you want, and you want it badly
enough to claim it, you will know a fear
far greater than the one that stays you.
