Tragedy is the most
rewarding of vices; it serves
me well. It's dark and cloying,
unhealthy and dispiriting. But I am
the parasite; it is I who feed upon it,
I who sap its life force, I who gain
from its company. It is for this
reason, because of this
addiction, that I can't
write of you.
