Haunting In Digha( On Hold)

Chapter 8

We saw a corpse of a woman hanging from the ceiling with a rope around its neck . Her eyes were opened and looked scary . Her bushy black hair floated in the air and blood coming out from her mouth. We became speechless to see that . We hurriedly come back. After a few seconds , Pam said ,"We must inform the receptionist now."
"Yes" I supported.
We rushed to the reception and told him everything. At first he didn't believe but at last he agreed to come . Along with three of us he came to that place but we surprised to see that the window was closed! How could it be possible? "I think somebody closed it ." Bedo said .
"But who?"
" Rests of our friends are in our cottage , and if they...."
"But Bedo , they are busy with Madhu ."
"Okay I am going there to ask them about it ." saying this Pam went towards our cottage.
"Come here sir , I show you the dead body ." saying this Bedo tried to open the window but she could not open it . I went to help her but it was so much tight that it was closed from inside. How could it be possible! It was opened before ten minutes. I and Bedo looked at each other and could not understand the matter. Then the receptionist said ,"OK that does not matter I  shall open the door and we may come in."
And that time Pam come with a worried face  . She said , "They said they didn't know about this."
"What!!! Then who closed the window!!"
Pam looked at me and said nothing .  The receptionist opened the lock and pushed the door . It was opened with a bad cracking sound . The cottage was dusty and dark  .
" It was closed five years ago . And from then we don't open it ,so it remains unclean. " He went inside and  we followed him . For the darkness we could not see well  . He opened a window and then the sun light came . " Come to the room at first . " I said .
"It is north side room .Come with me." He said . We soon went to the room . He opened the door and we entered but could not proceeded further. We could not believe our eyes. There was nothing even the rope.
"Where is the dead body?"
asked the receptionist.
"It's impossible. We saw it here. "
"Then where is it gone ?"
"Please believe us sir we saw it hanging from the ceiling"
"Okay I think you must enjoy your holiday tour than to lose time unnecessarily . I have other important works . Come out of here , I have to lock it."
We came outside and he locked the door and went away. We stood there silently. After sometime Pam said ,"He became very much angry on us ."
" But we don't  lie ." said Bedo.
"Yes but none will believe us."
"It is a haunted house."
"Oh really!!! Does the ghost meet with you ? I don't understand why are you believe in this fucking superstition being the students of pure science. "
"Because from the last two days we saw strange things happening." I said .
"Okay . bye" Bedo went to our cottage.
"She don't believe it . " Pam said.
" She is not the point . We have to think about the mystery of the corpse."
