He dragged me out of the restaurant while whatever it was was still trying to get out of the kitchen. We ran down the street and around a corner into an alleyway. There stood a blue box in the corner beside the dustbins.

"Woww, what is that?" I was curious

He looked at me and hesitated.

"Ahh you stay here. I'll be right back- just have to grab something real quick" He stood looking at me for a second before running into the blue box and slamming the door behind him. The box seemed to make a kind of growling noise and then I heard a faint "Sorryyy." What else could fit in there besides him?

I guessed that this was the point I should have probably run away from the mad man. But I stayed. I couldn't just leave- right? But before I could deliberate it any further, he came running out of the box carrying a laptop. He zoomed straight past me to the street before skidding, turning back and stopping in front of me for a brief moment.

"Sorry" he said before wiping his hand on his jacket and then grabbing mine. MORE running. We went straight back to the restaurant. Inside, we were behind the bar again and he was typing, very fast I might add and muttering something about 'Cybermen.' He was clearly ignoring me and all the questions I was asking.

He started pointing the device with the green light at the door again. It was already locked so why was he unlocking it?!

"You're gonna let it out again! What are you doing?" I asked, panicked.

"Get down!" He ordered just as the door swung open.

I peeked over the edge of the bar. There stood a huge silver robot man. I dropped straight back down again. "What the?"

"Now if I can just get the right frequency..." he trailed off as he was pointing his device at the computer and then looking at it. He stood up and pointed the device at the 'Cyberman'

"Gotcha" he said as the silver man burst into flames. He looked down at me "That was easy!" he said with a huge grin on his face. He looked back over at the kitchen doorway. "Too easy" he sounded concerned.

He didn't think any more about it as he helped me off the ground.

"Dinner" he said. I looked at him funny. "Oh no, maybe they don't do dinner anymore... coffee? No that's not it... Netflix and chill!"

"Uhh no!" I protested. But he clearly didn't understand the meaning of netflix and chill.

"Oh okay then." He looked disappointed. "Um, well I best be off then. Uhh.."

"Isla. Isla Grey." I said

"Isla, nice name" He smiled "and nice to meet you!" He took hold of my shoulders and kissed me on both cheeks before he turned on his heel and began to make way for the exit.

All I wanted was to forget what happened, let the man walk off. But something stopped me from walking away.

"Wait! I didn't get your name!" I called just as he reached the door. He stopped with his hand on the handle.

"I'm the Doctor." And he continued walking. As I ran outside after him, I almost tripped on the last step but he caught me and we both ended up on the ground, me on top of him. We awkwardly looked at each other- too close for comfort for both of us.

"That was close" I said. I got off him and sat on the step. He sat down beside me. I looked at his hands while he dusted himself off.

"Hey- you're not cut anymore" I stated, grabbing his hand and opening up the palm.

"Yeah! Tobee-jelly. Works wonders for Timelords!" He remarked excitedly.

He went silent and looked at me. I clearly wasn't in my best shape considering a fainted, was basically kidnapped and then almost killed by a Cyberman. I felt awkward so just looked down at my hands.

"Im sorry."

"huh?" I looked at him now.

"I didn't mean to drag you into this, you were in the wrong place at the wrong time."

I didn't know what to say. This whole thing was bizarre.

"C'mon" he grabbed my hand.

"Where are we going?"

"Dancing." He grinned excitedly and off we ran.
