Your P/O/V
Me and my husband Grayson were sat downstairs watching tv whilst drinking wine, because y'know, we live the luxury life😂
"She's been up there a while, should be text her or check on her? It's 10 normally she's come down to say good night." I said with a worried tone
"Babe, chill. She's becoming more of a teenager now so she'll be like this." Gray comfortingly rubbed my knee
"Well I'm gonna go up anyway." I put my glass on the table and stood up. Grayson sighed and joined me.
We went up to her room and knocked a few times- there was no answer. We knocked once more then barged it.
"What in the world Nova Dolan?! Why are you halfway out the window?" I crossed my arms
"Umm... Hey guys." She nervously laughed.
"Where do you think you're going little miss?" Gray asked putting an arm around me
Nova sighed and climbed back into her room and sat on the edge of her bed
"A party..." She mumbled
"Whose party?" I asked sternly
"Tylers" Nova looked at her fiddling hands.
I loosened up when I heard his name. I let a small smile slip onto my face. Nova told me a few weeks back that she liked this Tyler guy. I was not only please that my little girl had a little crush but that she was comfortable enough around me to tell me that.
I squeezed Gray's hand stopping him from talking. "So what time does it end?" I asked smirking. Nova looked up at me wide- eyed with a glimmer of hope.
"When everyone's gone." She said in a small voice
"Midnight it is. Grayson, you drive." I smiled at him and he laughed
"What?! We did this when we were young." I winked
"Alright lets go then girls."

"Ok, this house." Nova pointed to a large house like ours.
"Have fun Nova!" Gray shouted after her as she got out the car
"Remember to stay protected!" I shouted whilst laughing. She turned back, glared at me then walked off.
"Well... Joe's (ur 9 year old son) at Ethan's sooo we have the house to ourselves for the night." Gray wiggled his eyebrows.
"What are you waiting for? Let's get home quick!"
