Anthi's P/O/V

I sat, staring at the blank wall in front of me. What the doctor just told me is something that will never, ever leave me. "I'm sorry Miss. We tried but it just too late." I nodded my head accepting the apology and stood up.

"Can I visit him?" I asked in a small voice

"Yes you may." I wondered down the corridor and reached Grayson's room. I quietly turned the handle and opened the heavy oak door. To my surprise, Grayson was awake.

I gently shut the door and sat on the chair next to his bed.

"I take it they've told you then." He whispered, not able to get his voice any louder. His neck was in a brace so he couldn't move.

"We will get through this. We have Ethan, your parents, my family. Who knows scientists might find some magical cure for paralysis." I looked down and my shaking hands, still un able to process what just happened.

"Anthi. I will understand if you leave me. I'm not going to provide much for you. I can't move from the waist down!"

"No no Grayson I will never leave you. I can't. You're the love of my life and I will stick with you, through thick and thin. I.. We will work together to make life as normal as possible." I couple salty droplets dropped from my bloodshot eyes.

"Anthi, we know nothings going to be the same again. It won't be easy, nothing will be easy anymore." Grayson's voice cracked.

"Gray, baby listen. Nothing is going to stop us from living life as normal as possible. If worse comes to worse I'll always have your back and your family will always be there."

Grayson tried moving his head to look at me but he just hissed in pain.
"Baby, I love you so much. I can't thank the universe enough I have you." Grayson said through the pain.

"I love you so so so much too. I can't explain how lucky I am to have you." I picked up his hand and kissed it.

Our little moment was interrupted by a knock at the door. It was Ethan. He came in and I left, leave the brothers alone. Ethan would probably burst into tears but he had to stay strong, for Grayson.
