Chapter 13

"Austiiiiin, stop!"

"Oh come on.." He threw his arm around my shoulder. "Nobody's gonna see us." He whispered, his hand making its way onto my face.

I pulled away, facing away from him & crossing my arms over my chest. He was really pushing it. He tapped on my shoulder & i continued to ignore him. Both of his arms then proceeded to snake their way around my torso & i still stood my ground - like i always had & always will.

"Austin, just stop," I grumbled. He sighed with frustration & pulled away.

"Now go, its your turn to bowl." I said.

We were out on a trip to the cosmic bowling alley downtown. Today was a friday, me & Austin were both bored & my dad gave me a little extra money to go have some fun. I took his offer, happily, but what he doesn't know won't kill him.

Not understanding?

Well, he thinks i'm going out with some friends i met at the beach - a few girls. He knows nothing about Austin being here with me & believe me if he found out that i was lying.. Who knows what would happen.

Thing is, i honestly wouldn't care if he knew. I'd be leaving in a few months & if he was mad at me, it wouldn't be able to last for long since i'd be gone.

I don't really regret meeting Austin, but i just wish my dad wasn't so hard on who i hangout with. Meeting Austin was probably both a down fall & a highlight of my summer. I was trying to hard to forget about Luke & now i was trying to forget i even spoke to Ryan, they're both low life jerks.

"Strike!" He uttered, almost more excited than a little kid on christmas.

His face lit up & he smiled at me, his smile was so captivating. I giggled & he gripped my hand, pulling me towards him & planting a soft kiss on my cheek. "What do you say.. We get out of here." He whispered into my ear, I could feel his hot breath over my skin sending chills down my spine.

His hand slid its way down to the small of my back & he pulled me right up against his body.

I was very hesitant at first but i then laced our fingers together & nodded to him, tucking my lips in between one another. I was trying so hard not to smile. He gripped my hand tightly, i felt a sensation of adrenaline push throughout my body for a mere 5 seconds.

He pulled me to his truck,& helped me inside, before shutting my door he pressed his lips to mine & just as i went to kiss back he pulled away & winked back at me mischievously. I laughed at his foolishness & watched as he got inside.

He kept tight grip of my hand the whole entire way back to his house. As we pulled into the driveway, a deep groan came from his lips & when i looked over he rolled his eyes.

"Whats wrong Austin?" I questioned, squeezing his hand tighter. He shook his head, not saying one word. I rolled my eyes this time, feeling frustrated because he won't tell me.

He proceeded to get out of the truck, not even bothering to open my door for me like a gentlemen should- no, he just walked inside & left me speechless. I finally made my way out of the truck & slowly made my way up to the house.

Before i could walk inside, i studied the outside. It looked very warm, inviting. Almost drawing me to go in, without hesitation. But i knew that that would possibly have been a bad idea. I wasn't sure what was going on right now, but if i walked in, knowing my luck something bad might happen.

I brushed it off. Maybe this was my signal to leave. Maybe i should just start walking home now. It took me a good minute to figure out what i should do, but in that moment my mind kept telling me to leave him alone. I kept telling myself to just let him cool off and realize what he's doing.
