Chapter 10!!!

OMG were at chappie #10!! double digits!

Cam's P.O.V>>>>>

We stepped out into the fire escape, and I helped Jules down the stairs, even though she refused.

"I can do it by myself Cam!" she shouts, and I smirk. I just want to help her.

Right when we jump off of the fire escape and onto the cement, the search group exits the building. Just fantastic.

"We should stay here until they leave," I suggest.

I honestly didn't think Juliette's parents would care enough to send out people to look. My parents were probably out somewhere getting high. I didn't care. If my parents ever acted like actual parents, I would've never met Jules.

"What if they see us?"

"They're already moving onto the diner. It'll be fine."

We climbed down the remainder of the rickety steps and headed over to Annie's car. I knew she wouldn't mind. She'd do anything for Jules. Plus, when things calm down we will come back.

"Cam?" Jules broke the silence. "Yeah?"

"How are we supposed to get jobs or ever live a normal life if they don't find us? Won't they consider us dead after a while?"

"The search is for you, Jules. My parents haven't done anything. Plus, I'll be turning 18 soon. I can get a job and support us."

"What about..." she stopped. I knew she was uncomfortable about it, so I filled in the blanks.

"We'll be fine. Sure, it would've been nicer for this to have happened when we were more... settled down but I'm happy."

"I just hope I don't get weird."

"Weird?"

"Like annoying"

"I'll do whatever it takes to get through this" I reach over and take her hand.

{about two hours of driving later}

Jules fell asleep, even thought it was still very bright out. I didn't wake her. Not even when I saw a family of deer on the side of the road.

We stopped at a fast food place when I thought we were far enough away.

"Hey Jules," I shook her gently, "wake up"

"Huh?" She said groggily.

"We can eat and sleep in the car here tonight. I'm pretty sure this place is open 24 hours so we won't get in trouble"

"Cam?"

"What?"

"I think I'm going to vomit," and with that, she opened the car door and threw up in the parking lot.

It's been like a year but I felt bad for abandoning it...
