Undefined Love

"Vero hurry up" called my best friend Danielle from down stairs

"I'm almost done Dani" I said.

I was just finishing getting ready and adding a little bit of make up for our first day of our Junior year. I've never been the one to wear so much makeup.

After I was done I looked in the mirror and decided this is as good as I'm going to look today. I decided to wear a floral shirt with dark blue jeans and flats. I started thinking about all my flaws and why I just couldn't look a slight better. I've always been so insecure about myself .

"Veronica Hunter if you don't come down here at once I am going to leave without you!" Dani yells at me

My thoughts were interrupted by Danielle screaming at me again and just in time so I decide to finally walk down stairs to see my best friend waiting impatiently for me.

"Its about time you were done." Dani said.

"I'm sorry, you know I can never decide on what to wear" I replied.

"You look great now come on before we're late!" Dani said overly eager to get to school.

"We still have like 35 minutes left" I said confused.

"I wanna say hey to everyone before classes start" she tells me.

"Okay fine" I said

"I'm leaving Parker, see you when I get home" I yelled up to my brother.

"See you lil sis, Be careful" he calls back down.

Dani and I finally walk out the door but not before her yelling "Goodbye cutie" out to my brother.

I let out a small laugh and headed out to the car.

All my friends and even everyone who is not my friend thinks that my brother is just so cute, I have to admit it's like he got all the looks between us two. Atleast I got the brains between us.

Before I knew it I hear Dani call out

"We're here!"

I don't understand why she is so excited to be here I mean we have been going to this school for 2 years now. I'm not all that popular like my brother was in high school but I do have my small group of friends whom I love.

"Look at him, he's cute" I hear Dani say.

"Haha he looks way to young for you and you already have a boyfriend, Come on let's go inside." I tell her.

"I know, I know and I would never do anything to hurt him" she tells me.

As we headed inside, there he was. He was just so cute and the way he smiles at you and his eyes. He was just.. perfect.

"Hey" he says smiling at me.

"Hey best friend, how was your summer?" I asked him.

And yes I said best friend. Because I hate to admit it but I am in love with my best friend, Zach Evans.

"It could have been better, California is beautiful but they don't have you" he replies

I blush a little and try to hide it by quickly replying

"Aww well I missed you " I said

"Don't forget me, The third musketeer, the other friend" Dani say. Causing us all too laugh.

"Haha I missed you too Dani, but I know someone who missed you more than I did." Zach said winking at her and pointing at the door.

She turned around and yelled "Liam!" as she rans towards him.

"I can't deny that they just make the cutest couple ever. " I tell Zach.

Zach and Liam left to California over the summer to visit old childhood friends and Dani just never stopped talking about him and called him every chance she had. Of course Dani knows I like Zach a lot and so I knew how she felt.

"Ready to go to class?" Zach asked as soon as the bell rang.

"Do I have any other choice?" I tell him.

"I guess not but stop being so negative and let's go" he says while softly poking me.
